What does everyone see happening in this one? Mason county has played alot of games in a little amount of time. They will start of sluggish in this game and I think again they come out strong in the second half and win in a close game. Mason - 66 LexCath- 63

I think Mason came out a different team, and would have won this game regardless. Darius is relentless when he gets a little what I call "basketball angry." He was the difference and the injury was huge, but I think Mason still would have came out on top had Bondick not have gotten hurt. By the way I hope he can return to the team, I hate to see a senior get hurt like this.

Mason didn't really dominate until late in the fourth when the defense stepped up it's intensity. Game was close until then. Good luck in the finals Royals, bring another Holiday Classic Champs trophy back to Maysville!!:ylsuper:

Good win for the Royals. I look for them to handle CovCath, an win that game by 15 or so.

Might just be Darius Miller. His length just creates havoc trying to pass on him or get around him. Great shot blocker as well. I haven't seen anyone better, but I haven't got to watch alot of teams play yet.

I look for Mason county to be back ful strength and win this game by around 15.

Yeah I'd like to see them draw mason. Nothing against st. pat at all, they are playing great this year but the guy who said they would beat mason co. is thinking a little to highly of them.

I am very impressed with St. Pats play so far this year. A guy who works with my dad says they upset Mason County this year I dont see that happening but I look for them to be more successful than most people predicted. And yes they might just win the 10th Region all A.

Sounds like this Mt. Vernon team is tough. Don't really know much about them other than what i've read though. Go get em' Royals, make us back here in Maysville proud. :ylsuper:

Really wow!! I always thought it looked like Darius had a little height on Trevor. Oh well though they are both taller than me and will both play college basketball. :lol:

Im not sure what they list Trevor at, but it looks like he is just a little bit shorter than Darius. The good part is he will play college basketball, and get a good education. Just good to know that he will play at some level, wherever that may be. Keep up the good work Trevor.

As I said in my first post, this is strictly rumor, although I have heard it from more than one person. I think Trevor is like alot of the players that have been at WVU. The Belein (Sp) kid and some of the bunch he played with. Trevor is a spot up shooter who plays hard the entire game. WVU has had many of these players the past few years, and I think Trevor will be alot better once he puts on some weight.

I don't know if there is any truth to it, but i've heard rumors that West Virginia has shown interest in Trevor. Not at all sure of this though.

Well said, and you are absolutely right. Darius and his family are great people. I know what you mean about him playing with the swagger but not in a cocky way. I can't wait to see him in htat wildcats jersey next year.

Yeah Mason will win this one easy, but knowing Coach O'hearn personally he is not the type of coach to run the score up. If the Royals get up big then you will see the JV team most of the 4th.

Man my royals looked good last night. Really impressed with the intensity on the defensive end. CovCaths student section is a sight to see, hats off to them, and the team for not giving up and getting back in the game during the 4th quarter.

I don't deny CovCath has great fans, but it takes more than that to confuse Mr. Miller and company. He will keep his composure no matter what, and Mason wins this game in a close one.

I like Deming in this one also. Look for Caleb Curtis to have a big game, I think he's about to break out.

I agree 100% MCpapa. I think that the team that gets out to a quick start and sets the pace of the game will eventually be the victor in this one. Either way I can't wait to be packed into the Fieldhouse come friday night!!

I remember Bishop Brossart I believe has in the past hosted a showcase for 10th region seniors. It included a 3 point, and slam dunk contest. Do they still have this? If so what is the date? Thanks in advance.

Tumbleweed would be a good choice if your have enough time. The have great chicken, burgers, steaks, and really good, cold beverages. lol.

Not all of the mason fans predicted a blowout, post number 2 I picked my Royals to win only by 5. Hope it is more, but I think CovCath will play close to Mason.
