News flash, 1 player cant win a game. thats what he is trying to do. I love Jodie, but he can't ahoot it everytime. He is what? 2-12? Thats not productive at all. That is forced shots.

In high school my team prayed on the basketball court before the game during warm ups and after the game we prayed around the logo, home or away. My coach was our FCA leader and religious, as were most of our players. To say you see nothing wrong with another team getting mad and actually "charging" another team for praying is obsurd. I don't care who you are a fan of its ridiculous.

I had a blast at the game, as I got caught up in the game in the student section with a couple of shirtless kids, which was the most fun I have had this year. I just don't understand how we can keep shooting ourselves in the foot. I think the roughing the passer was a bad call (JMO though), but I also think we got away with a huge call on the E.J Adams catch. It looked like a push off to me, but then again I couldn't tell if the DB got tripped up or E.J made contact. Either way, it sucks being a cat fan this weekend!

People underestimated them last year maybe...but not this year.

Stangs do what was expected of them. I sure hope they win next week and continue to be the class of our district!

I tend to agree with your score. I don't think HC will pull it out but this team does have a lot of talent and if they get hot they coud pull the upset. I dont know what has happened to them the last few weeks but I give them the slightest chance tonight. While I definately dont think they win the game, if they did pull the upset I wouldn't be too overly suprised.

I agree. I dont think they are going to be winning district or regions or anything like that, but I just think they have the potential to shake things up a bit this year. A couple of big upsets and they will compete in every game.

Agreed, but I think that Hinkle has improved and has gotten a lot stronger from football, and I really think Jeffries will suprise a lot of people this year. He is a great athlete. I look for HC to be vastly improved this year. remember, in 05 HC was 3-24, them in 07 they were 19-11 with some quality wins. I think Holland is an excellent coach and finds ways to win games. I look for them to suprise some people this year.

I think Owen has a legit shot at winning the region this year. You all can laugh and think its crazy, but it wasn't so crazy last year when Gallatin did it was it? Shelton is a good player, but I think Gamble is there best player by far. He is a playmaker. I don't think they will win the region, as I think Anderson should win it, but anything is possible and I think Owen is good enough to make a run. Also, my sleeper player is Cody Hinkle from HC. He is a really good post player and I think he will blossom this year. Also watch out for Connor Jeffries of HC, saw him this summer and he has improved greatly. I am not saying they are the top players in the region, but deserve some votes for top 10-15.

I think that all of the 31st district teams (Henry Co., Carroll Co., Owen Co., and Gallatin Co.) are all pretty fierce rivalries. I know when I played the games versus Gallatin and Carroll were always our (Henry) biggest rivals.

As much as I hate to say it...UL. I feel that UK has looked better in the exhibition games, but being exhibition and the T-Will factor being missing, I think that UL would win in a close game. I think UK can pull off the upset only if we have no injuries prior to the game, and we stay out of foul trouble. the post game for Lville will be dificult to guard because Patterson can only guard Clark or Samuels, and, while I really like Harrellson, I am not ready to say he can guard either of them at this point in time.

Thats the truth. It was hard to watch this game because of all the fouls. There were over 50 fouls in this game. Does anyone else think that Landon Slone will make a nice role player for us the next few years??? The kid is lights out from behind the arc.
