  1. I am sure that Highlands and Notre Dame will be up there. I know that Notre Dame lost quite a few seniors this past year. They have a good group of sophomores that will be coming back next year. No matter what Notre Dame loses, they always seem to be able to load back up the following year. I think Newport Catholic as well as Brossart will have good teams. And, if I am not mistaken, Calvary Christian and Simon Kenton should be good this year too. And don't forget about Ryle, they always are contenders at the end of the year as well.
  2. So, who are some of the top Juniors and Seniors in Northern Kentucky for girls basketball? Here are the ones I can think of: Chelsea Tolliver - Simon Kenton Jacy Bradley - Boone County Katie Behrens - Boone County Notre Dame - Casey Jackson Conner - Allison Long NDA - Katie Tierney Katie Kitchen - Campbell County Who are some of the others from some of the other schools out there in Northern Kentucky such as Brossart, Highlands, New Cath, Ludlow, Calvary Christian, Scott, Newport, Dayton and Bellevue, and any other schools out there?
  3. U reach I Teach. I don't really even know who you are, but I know I like you. You always seem to say the right things in the right way. From what I have read on here, I don't think you are a head coach yet, but I am sure that when your time does come, you will be a great coach.
  4. Is there a difference between the basketball camps like Eastern, Transy, and Northern Ky. as opposed to the Blue Chip Camps? Do the girls learn more, or are the Blue Chip Camps aimed more at girls who want to possibly play at a higher level?
  5. I just read in the paper that Melissa Sloane is no longer the girls basketball coach at Newport. Doe anyone know why she is no longer the coach?
  6. That is too funny about Louis Meadows, ladiesbball coach. He was my math teacher years ago at Pendleton County. I remember all of those years ago spending alot of time in his room listening to his stereo.
  7. Your daughter last night played against my daughter at Sports of All Sorts last night, and she played really well. But, I am sure the unknown of who the next coach is going to be does worry her. But, based on her play last night, I am sure she will be fine.
  8. I had also heard that she was not the only one who quit the team this year.
  9. Is Anyone familiar with the Eastern Kentucky basketball camp?
  10. Scott High School has a good slow pitch softball team.
  11. I was at the game as well with my daughter who plays high school basketball. She really enjoyed watching Rebecca Gray play, as I did. However, the one player that stood out to me was Whitney Ballinger. She has great ball handling skills for a girl that is over 6 foot. In the program she was listed as a guard. Is this correct?
  12. It truly amazes me that Notre Dame who has great sports program does not even have a soccer field for the girls to practice on. They are already good at soccer without a soccer field at the school to practice on. I can only imagine how much better they will be with a soccer field.
  13. Thanks for the information, CC24. However, her birth year is not in 1992. She is a little older than that.
  14. Can a high school girl be successful at basketball while still playing another sport. My daughter plays another sport in addition to basketball. She is probably better at the other sport then basketball. On more than one occassion, I have suggested to her that maybe she should try to focus on one or the other. However, she says she enjoys playing both. Can she succeed in either sport by playing more than one sport in high school? Any thoughts?
  15. When a girl is in high school, what is the best way to her to try to find an AAU team to play on?
  16. I know for Campbell County it was Kristen White. The two from Scott were Kiki Brown and Spring Schneider.
  17. Kiki is not hurt. She did not score against Brossart. She scored 13 the first game against Campbell County. I believe that Shelbi Benzinger led all Scott scorers with 9 points against Brossart.
  18. What is the change in line up that Dixie has done. I do agree that Dixie is playing really good right now, and I think it will be a great game between Ludlow and Dixie.
  19. Great game last night, both teams played hard. I believe the high scorer for Scott was Shelbi Benzinger followed by Kiki Brown. Stephanie Muth did a great job shutting down Kristen White the second half. Great job Eagles, and good luck in the district finals.
  20. I saw the game last night, and Deming is a scrappy team. Keshia Woods played her heart out. As a Scott fan, I am glad for the win. But, I am sure it is frustrating as a Deming fan to lose 4 in a row. It has actually been quite a while, since Scott has won two in a row. Take care, Devilman. Deming looked liked they were well coached, and have alot of fan support, which is great.
  21. Yes, she does have a bright future ahead of her, and her mom is a very nice lady.
  22. To be honest with you, sir, you really did not hurt my feelings one bit. I am a tough lady, and can take whatever it is you feel the need to say. I just really don't think what you said was necessary. You have a right to your opinion, and I respect that. And, I would hope in return, that you respect my opinion, And, my daughter does not even play for Campbell County. Her team has played against them and lost. And, for the record, her team plays NDA tomorrow night. Another cupcake team for NDA. I am familiar with quite a few of the younger girls at NDA, due to another sport that my daughter is involved with. And, the girls are very nice girls. That is nice that you feel the need to tell like it is. And, I have no doubt that NDA basketball is going to have a great year this year.
  23. The darker blonde is Lyndsey O'Donnell, and the light haired blonde is Tori Lange. Tori is also an awesome soccer player as well.
