Brossart comes into this tournament with a solid showing in the Fifth Third Tournament and currently stands 10-1. Not sure about Montgomery, only that they are 12-1. Who wins this first round matchup in the MCIT?:thumb:

Brossart indeed has their hands full in the first round, should be a great game and I'm sure that Brossart would love to have another rematch with the Camels.

Have to agree with this one, I think the ball hung on the rim for a good 2 weeks before it decided to drop in, another great game was the 10th semifinals against St. Pat. Talk about a nerve racking weekend!

Does HC have big men that can bang inside with Brossarts big guys, I know that Ryan is a player, didn't he put 20+ against Scott County?

IMO,I don't think Brossart will have any trouble utilizing Cooper, he is averaging at least 20 points a game in their last 3 games, they will find a way to get him the ball.

Brossart dominates on both ends of the floor giving up only 11 points in the first half and leaving Harrison scoreless in the second quater.

Great win for the Stangs, they now are 2-0 in the district. Didn't seem like the Camels could get anything going, and didn't have an answer for Troy Cooper or Jimmy Uebel, both ended up with 20+. From what I heard, it was physical game with numerous fouls on both sides of the ball. Great win for Brossart!!

Has Walker beefed up his game enough to play inside with Cooper? If not, Brossart has a field day inside and wins Big 65-42, if so then I expect a close game BBHS on top 60-54.

CovCath and Holmes I think are still the clear favorites to win the region, but St. Henry could be in the mix soon enough.

I too think Brossart will be the odd man out, they are too young and inexperienced to make a serious run at a playoff spot, but I do think they will improve tremendously as the season progresses.
