Who will win this game and why? Brossart's Troy Cooper and PC's Kane Belcher should be a good matchup of big men. I think this game will be won from the arc with Jimmy Uebel leading the way. My Pick: Brossart-61 PC- 45

Wow, If this is the case, then I lose a lot of respect for a fantastic program. I'm sure that if any opposing teams fans spit tobacco on the seats of the CAM, there would be hell to pay.

Good point BG, I don't think there are too many A schools vying for a top spot.

I think Brossart picked a really bad time to go cold from the field. 1-19 shooting will not get the job done regardless who you are playing. The only thing the Mustangs can do is learn from this and move on. I still think that the regional is a 3 team race. Look at it this way, if (and a big if) Brossart beat Mason by the same score, would we say that the regional would be a 2 team race between GRC and Brossart? Of Course not!!!!!! The Mustangs will regroup from this loss, move on, and hopefully be better prepared down the road for the regular season matchup.

I'm a big fan of CovCath's gym, the fans are noisy(might be an understatement) and you always know its going to be a tough game for the away team.

Honestly, they haven't been able to handle the stangs for the past 5 years.

Love the way Brossart has picked it up this season, I love defensive basketball, but the way this team workd together, its just fun to watch.

Excellent recap for both teams Sharp.:thumb: I think it is safe to say that Brossart has had a difficult schedule up to this point for a Class A school (but a first class program) and Campbell has had a relatively easy schedule up to this point for a 4A school. Not either teams fault, just how the schedule panned out. I think Coach Reitz used this tactic to give his players more confidence that they can win when they get to the harder part of their schedule.

Brossart- Willie Schlarman

My knowledge of Brossart basketball is limited, so I apologize if I leave anyone off this list. Nathan Seiter(G)- Best player ever to wear the green and white Curtis Bezold (G)- Tenacious guard who could "D" it up Justin Seiter(F)- All around athlete, could guard the big man and put the ball on the floor. Evan McDole(F)- started since he was a freshman Troy Cooper©- One of the best post players Brossart has ever had.

I think that limb is getting ever shorter as BB creeps to the top of their game. I hope that they can only improve on how they are playing currently because they are sure fun to watch!

I'm with you q, this sounds about right.

What does everyone think about this second go around with these 2 teams in a little over 3 weeks. Brossart playing some very good basketball right now with a strong showing in the 5/3 and a blowout over 12-1 Montgomery County. They now stand at 11-1 and are tops in the NKY polls. Camels counter with a solid showing in the Williamstown Inv. and a win over St. Pats tonight. I believe they stand at 9-4 currently. Brossart won the last meeting in a big way at the Campbell Co. Middle school. Both teams look to advance to the finals Saturday night.
