Troy Cooper elected to the All-Tournament Team, as was Aaron Boyd from Henry Clay.

Big win for the Mustangs after a loss last night.

Brossart survives Henry Clay 46-40

Led by 10 just into the fourth quarter before HC cut the Mustang lead to one.

Troy Cooper leads the Stangs with 12, Jimmy Uebel with 11, and Nathan Mutsch with 11

It's wrong, I listened to the webcast. Bishop Brossart wins a big one here. I really think they got what they were looking for out of the 5/3 Classic.

Congrats to the Mustangs. They should win the All A tourney or atleast be a favorite to win.

Fourth game in four days for BBHS. Good win over a solid HC team. Good luck to both teams.

Yeah, they got a tough draw region wise. UHA will more than likely make it tot he finals and they are very tough too. That's why I think Brossart really should benefit from this tournament (for All "A" puposes). They also have the MCIT (Mason County Invitational Tournament) coming up next weekend.

I agree, Brossart got what they wanted out of this tournament. Good prep for the MCIT coming up!

Lucky Charms needs to remember that Brossart still has to play the 10th region all A tournament before they can go to state to meet UHA. Let's not get the horse before the cart there may just be an upset out there!

Great win for BB today. They will challenge for the 10th region title.:thumb:

Good point LR. Brossart will probably emerge as the favorite to win the 10th All "A", but that assures them nothing, and I'm certain the players and coaches are aware of that. As they say "that's why they play the games". That's also the reason they've been in Lexington this week challenging themselves against some of the best teams in the state, and not padding their record somewhere against lesser competition in some minor tourney!! I like their strategy and their chances!! :thumb:

Brossart is good year in and year out, very well coached, utilize their talent, and is going to challenge Clark and Mason for the 10th, it is early in the year but the talent shows for me it is a 3 team race right now for the title!

Thats one thing I love, teams that will go out and play anyone anywhere and anytime. You won't get any better playing little teams that you just walk over. You have to go out and play with the big boys.
