The only 5/3 game Saturday is the championship game ... everyone else is done.

I said LexCath would win by 3... I was close.

Mason had their chances, just didn't make the plays at the end. Congrats to Catholic on the win.

 

Several factors contributed to the loss for the Royals. Inability to finish after repeatedly beating the Knights pressure was one - I lost count of missed layups when Mason had 2-on-1 and 3-on-2 advantages, particularly in the first half. Then, after tying the score at 59, a couple of ill-advised threes.

 

Good competitive game; looking forward to the rematch.

Sad to say that Mason was outcoached and Mason players were not used effectively. How can anyone make the case that Miller plays out top when he would have been far more effective down low---scoring and rebounding?

I would have thought that Mason would have won this one, but sounds like they blew several opportunities and it cost them. When you play good teams, you have to limit mistakes and take advantage of the opportunities given to you.

It sounded like Mason missed several layups, maybe contested, but shots that they would normally make, not taking anything away from Catholics defense, but sounded like a lost oppurtunity for the Royals, but they always represent the 10th well and will rebound from this loss coming up with a tough run in the schedule, good luck MC!
