  1. The first day of the season has come and gone. Anyone see any suprises or disappointments from players. I had a couple that were suprises and since I didnt coach them last year that makes it a good situation.
  2. My team will not be outside today, if it was 30 we would be, but 11 degree's right now is just a tid bit cold for me to have those kids out in. Indoors for the 1st two days and then out on the field next week!
  3. My motto is if its above 30 then we are outside, if its not, then we are inside. You'll have to play in the cold, sometimes a light rain and sometimes even while its snowing(done that before as a player). So why not practice in it. Makes you learn how to handle certian situations better.
  4. Seems like a pretty weak schedule to me, if they dont go undefeated heading into Morgantown then they aren't as good as we all think.
  5. We have a guy couple of guys that run, 4.3 - 4.6, they are track and football stars and might not even play for us this year because their future is in one of those two other sports.
  6. Frankfort has theirs out and quite a few other schools do as well.
  7. he isnt worth a 3 year $5 million deal and they are going to give him three times that amount. I dont know about the rest of you but I think that a lot of players this free agent year have been getting WAY WAY more than they are worth or have been accredited for.
  8. Boyle will have to play their best game of the year to date on both sides of the ball to win. Best of luck and may the tradition continue!
  9. Congrats to Mercer, its been a long time coming since those boy's finally put together something worth talking about during the playoffs! Keep it rolling and dont stop, and I dont just mean for this year I mean keep it rollin for years to come!
  10. Good win Rebels, good luck next week. You'll have to play your best to win! Git r Done!
  11. Great win Panthers. Next week will be a big one! I'll be there rooting you on! Keep yo head straight and your eye on the prize baby!
  12. The took it to several good teams this year and proved their dominance of them all. They will go deep into the playoffs but not to the Pizza Box! Best of luck though!
  13. I didnt think that Lincoln had it in them this season, but they did and they proved me wrong! It would've been nice to see them continue to play Boyle this season since Lincoln got pounded by them last year. I think that Lincoln could have put it to em this year. Congrats again and best of luck through the playoffs!
  14. Congrats to Frankfort, you all have tons of athletes and enough toughness to go a long way. Best of luck through out the playoffs!! I know I'll be there watching some of the games!
  15. Frankfort will win this game and they are already full steam ahead going towards the playoffs. I do believe that it will be much closer than others have previously said. Frankfort - 35 Trimble Co. - 14
  16. Congrats to the Rebels on a decent win. I figured their defense could hold Taylor to less than that but at least they got a win!
  17. E.J. Fields, I have been told he was the fastest kid in the state and tonight he showed me that he might just be. When I saw him leave Danville's DB's in the dust while still pulling away, MAN HE IS FAST! Great game, Frankforts D was stellar and I do believe I was one of the few that picked Frankfort to win! Great job Panthers!
  18. If you want to add a catcher, when Paul Konerko came over from the Dodgers he was a catcher and then I believe the Reds switched him to 3B/C and then he went to the White Sox and became a 1B/DH there. But he was originally a C when he was drafted and came up with the Dodgers and in the beginning while with the Reds.
  19. Bobby Leffew 6'4 245 from Boyle County, who had 232 tackles and 5 picks during his senior year, as well as Matt Quinn 6'2 225 from Boyle, Both hit very very hard. They both played MLB during their tenure at Boyle/.
  20. Dang Rackers missing a 40yd field goal to win it! Sad day in Arizona!
