Great game tonight Estill's defense dominated, and the double wing looked great. Good to see our boys get another win, and send our seniors out with one on their last home game at Hoover Niece Field.

You were seeing the same kids for the most part, Estill lost eight seniors last year. The game against the Devils there were more underclassmen on Offense and Defense than there were seniors.

One thing you always hear about the Engineers is they give it their all, and don't quit until the last whistle blows, it may not translate to a lot of wins, but that's a great reputation to have.

In 2005 Estill's freshman class was big and talented but inexperienced, this year they have a full year under their belt, that could be why they've won a game.

I think they may have been a little fear in the first quarter.

Cameron Allie is ok. Good game Devils. Had a little scare in the first quarter, but you pulled away from then on.

I realize that Russell is the defending state champions, and that they are extremely strong this year, but a team with confidence (Estill) can be dangerous. I'm not predicting an upset, or even saying that Russell won't win big, but the final score might not be 56-0 like some folks might think.

The single wing offense gained more yards for Estill last year than the double wing, because like you said you don't see it very often, it's pretty tricky.

Again, Estill County is a different place, you can't know it without living it. We can talk about this all day but the people who live here know what's going on and the people that don't just don't understand.
