After watching this one South's coaching needs to think long and hard about using this 3-5 defense , it doesnt stop anyone. Also the coaching calls on either side of the ball werent good in my opinion. On offense South still just tried to air it out even though they did mix alittle run in this game. South was without Cody Quinn(38) and they used Randy McQueen(34) on offense but he isnt back to 100% yet. South needs to change there defense , and have a more balanced offensive attack. From what I saw the boys were playing hard , coaching hasnt helped them much this year.

I dont know if anyone has mentioned him but how about South Laurels #85 Terry Bingham?

All the running backs that you have metioned have been good. Mercer Co. running backs have looked great this year , especially behind that line of theres. I remember a couple years ago South Laurel had a chance at having a great running back , but his freshman year he blew out his knee and never played again until this year. If you have kept up with South Laurel Football over the past years you probably have heard of him. Does anyone know the name Shay House?

GRC is a good team and they have athletes but im gonna have to give this one to North. North Laurel-31 GRC-28

I think South Laurel is a good team , you have to remember there coach quit on them during spring practice and they were off for months before they got a new coach. Nothing is running smooth for them. If they are to beat Madison which they can do they will have to get there running game going , no airing it out every play and they must change there defense!

How do you think South will respond to a 56-7 beating by Lincoln County?

South needs to get there running game up and going even though they are without starting backs Cody Quinn(38) and Randy McQueen(34) they still have to establish a ground game. After South got down by two touchdowns South just completely ended there running game. Lincoln Co. just set back in pass coverage the rest of the game because South threw about every play after there second series. Logan Baker(29), Martin Jones(11), Shay House(20) can all run the ball , but the offense just passes ever down , this must Stop if South is going to have any chance against Madison Central. Also South's 3-5 defense cannot stop anyone , they need to change it right now , even though learning a new defense this late in the season would be hard it couldnt be any worse than how it stops the run now.

South was down right after the kickoff return for a td. Ive noticed after the other team has a couple big plays its almost as if South just gives up. South is a good team when they play like one. Better luck next week against Madison Cl. ! hope you win!

Even though South has had a tough time getting going this year i think South will come out ready for this game after losing to North. Lincoln is good and I think it will be a good game. South Laurel-42 Lincoln County-21

South Laurel just wasnt the same team after half time , also i noticed players that were playing good never got to play much after the half. Terry Bingham didnt get much playing time , and on defense Shay House was playing a good game and only had 2 or 3 plays after the half. South just killed thereselfs , but good game to North Laurel.

If South comes out against North playing like we all know they can , this should be an easy win for the Cardinals. I got to go with my boy's on this ones. South Laurel-49 North Laurel-21

From what ive seen South Laurel is a good team , you have to take into consideration that south was without starters Randy McQueen(rb) and Kyle Cochis(wr). Nice job by Logan Baker last week and great game by Logan this week. Also Shay House is doing good this year coming off several knee surgerys. Keep up the good job guys!
