I think that if Mercer plays its game it will be very difficult for them to be beaten. I think they are the most complete team in 2A. I like the fact that it appears that they have the kicking situation cleaned up. Early in the season they could not make an EXP. I just believe that it will be hard for anyone to score more than a couple of times on the Titan (Varsity) defense, and saying that would mean you would have to contain that speed, which can be very difficult to do.

I don't like the fact that Mercer has not really been tested. I think they are the most talented of the 3. But the way their schedule is it is scary that they may not be tested until later in the playoffs. What happens then? What happens to Mercer if they meet someone and fall behind by a couple of scores? How will the kids react?

Is there any chance that there would be a coaching change at Dunbar? Just out of curiousity I always thought that would be a great place to coach.

Well since Belfry and Russell both won't make it to the State Championship together I will stick to my Mercer Co. meeting Russell.....and of course Mercer dominating due to their superior talent and speed.

Bart coached LBs and was primarily a special teams guy. It takes longer than 2 years of working at X to work your way up to a coordinating position.

I have no clue who Newport, Spencer, and Llyod have beaten out of district, more less the record of each of the teams they have beaten out of district. It is somewhat complicated. For example, IF Newport has beaten Grant Co and Grant Co wins 5 games...that would be 5 points.

The #2 would be determined by a point system. The point system goes like this, you look at the non-district opponents your team has beaten and count their W's. Who ever has the most points is #2. #3 is determined by head to head match up.
