  1. I look for Mercer to unleash some tension from the past week: Mercer - 35 Pulaski - 21
  2. Lafayette - 35 Boyle - 21 Logan Bunch has really developed over the past couple of seasons. I look for his performance and Boyle's 'butter fingers' to be the deciding factor.
  3. Kentucky's special teams will dock a few points from this one. UK - 39 UL - 10
  4. I can't wait for the game!! The student section will be pretty nuts. GO BLUE
  5. Since I was a little kid, I can remember vandalism happening between both schools. Be it something spray painted on an anchor, or window paint on the front of a school window. However racial slurs, spray painted, takes the situation a little ''too far''.
  6. Jodey Burke, Kinte Bess, Donnie Redd, Chester Ford, Jeremy Britt, Kelvin Turner, Stephen Swann .... just a few that come to mind ... and currently, Dominque Alcorn - what a man among boys.
  7. Witten did not start, he came in to pitch in the 5th inning after the score was already 12-1 Admirals. He retired 3 hitters and the Ads won by the 10 run rule
  8. 1.) Danville 2.) Mercer 3.) Boyle 4.) Lincoln 5.) Casey 6.) Garrad
  9. I think Joey Beldon (Danville) may have passed this actually.
  10. Admirals definatly struggled in this one.
  11. Oh okay, yea Overstreet. I had always heard rumors of him playing football at Lincoln, he was a big assest when was at Danville. But I wasn't sure if he was playing or not. Thanks budd:thumb:
  12. Danville - 58 Carroll - 7 Total Beating. Watch out for Jacob Bryant in this game from Danville. He had two touchdown catch's in last weeks victory.
  13. I think alot of people have blown the situation at Boyle out of porportion. They have taken there anger out on the coaches, and I personally don't think its the coaches fault. It's just Boyle's program is so use to wins, that they have trouble adapting to losses, and a slow re-building process. The fans and parents at Boyle both need a lesson on paitience. Boyle will be fine in years to come. All this meeting and complaining is doing is making the program look bad.
  14. Fall ball always seems to improve kids come regular seasons. Basic principle for any sport, the more you practice at it, the better you'll be. WHOO HOO! Go DANVILLE
  15. I've noticed that athletes from Boyle have come to Danville, and Danville to Lincoln. There was one named Chase (?) forgot his last name that went to Lincoln from Danville, he was at the quarterback position last year I believe, any status on how he is doing, or if he is just playing basketball?
  16. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure that's against the rules.
  17. Yes. Four of the six seniors are playing fall ball. The other two are currently playing football. They all have been conditioning and throwing all year. Making sure they are in great shape for the season.
  18. There will be alot of competiton again this year as there has been in the previous years. Does anyone have any predicitions on who you think will lead the race for the 12th region crown? My pick is Danville they has 6 returning sr's, 4 of whom are D-1 prospects (Nate Uslin, Matt Grimes, John Raines, Rich Witten)...they return there top 3 starters (Witten, Grimes, Uslin) and have a very experienced lineup. Mr. Baseball candidate, Rich Witten leads the attack, building on from last year's success. Any thoughts?
  19. Rich Witten - Danville ..hands down, he's a D-1 recruit and has drawn the attention of professional scouts as well.
  20. Never thought about that. That's a pretty neat little point titan.
  21. If the dead period is removed, and athletes wanted to attend a Church originized trip(e.g. mission work, camp, etc.) would they be able to still, avoiding extra flopping or running. I know there was a debate a few years ago in Danville about the balance between Church and sports. Would this end up infringing on a students religous rights as an American?
  22. I actually graduated from Danville, but best kicker from Boyle that I've ever witnessed was Taylor Begley, who also went to play for UK.
