2007 Raceland
You are correct Oldrambler. I'm not sure what "muddy" game Ram is posting about but the games you described occured in the fall of 1975. Raceland had to play three games in one week and their season ended when they were defeated in the playoffs by eventual Class "A" State Champs Ludlow. Ludlow was led by running back/kicker Jim Lokesak. Ludlow defeated Heath 7-6 for the State Class "A" title.

Russell 52 Raceland 44, 63rd district
I concur with Incognito, it is a concussion :creepy: plus aches and pains associated with the fall (back, neck). The game sounded like a warm-up for this fall's football game.:fight: BF

I’d like to give props to the Raceland players and coaches for a FANtasic season. Also a special thanks to Oldrambler and Cvillecat for “keeping house” on the threads and to Sporting News Radio AM 1080 for webcasting most games. This was a special season that has forged many friendships (on and off the field) for years to come.:thumb: BF
