  1. Bondick hits 1 CCH up 2, 6.2 seconds left Holmes ball with a timeout
  2. Bondick with 2 with 6 seconds remaining up 1 timeout Holmes
  3. Holmes misses shot CCH fouled and at the line to go up 3 !!!!!
  4. CCH down 3 with the ball time out with 2:12 remaining
  5. 11 turnovers already for CCH, cannot beat a good team that way Holmes up 6 at the half, Colonels miss 2 shots in last 10 seconds before half Colonels up 18-8 to start game and Holmes goes on a 22-6 run
  6. Nice honor for Coach L I agree, I can't wait to see him get in the face of the 5 star recruits, they'll look at him like he's nuts
  7. Totally agree with you BGGreen, that's basically guaranteeing yourself 15 wins with those teams 2 and 3 times. Apparantly beating the worst teams in the region one time in a year is not good enough
  8. No matter who's playing for CCH or Holmes, for the last few years even with all the talent at Holmes CCH seems to have there number. I'd need to look it up but I believe they have won 4 straight and 5 of 6. CCH 56 Holmes 52
  9. that may be Do you know if they even played NCC, St. Henry or Brossart this year ?
  10. BTW I was at the game and unfortunatley I'm not going to go one way or the other(wimp way out). I questioned one of the regulars after the game why in the world was Roll jacking up 3's in the 4th quarter with a 50 point lead. I personally thought it was rediculous and I'm a CCH fan. If you look at the box score they had 32 points in the 4th !!!! As Guru mentioned there should have been 6 passes or more, no 3's and no major effort to score. Well the comments by the player were somewhat telling of the situation. He mentioned as others had that it was mainly sophomore JV players in from the middle of the 3rd, and how do you tell a kid that has'nt played Varsity all year and will not get to play again to not score. He also mentioned that the players on the court and the bench definitely got caught up in scoring 100. None of this had anything to do with Beechwood, or proving a point of anything else, it just happened. It looks like I'm going to give my opinion here though, there were 5 adults(coaches) on that bench and they are suppossed to be the mature ones and there's no reason to score 100 and win by 60, period.
  11. They should be embarrassed by the schedule, if your a "A" school around here you should be playing St. Henry, NewCath, etc. much less Calvary, Villa, Dayton and Heritage. Me, the Guru and the Old Guy could win 10 games with that schedule !!!!!!
  12. Also thought the refering was horrible on both sides of the ball. 9th region refs seem to want to control the game more and are getting rather proficient at blowing their wistles. I believe both teams were in the double bonus in both halves(I know they were in the 2nd)
  13. I thought it should have been a no call and I'm obviously a CCH fan, but when the smaller guy hits the floor HARD the refs usually make the call that way
  14. Perfect fit for Todd, as others mentioned he wants to stay home, he's bright and will study pre-med, not a big profile guy and would fit better into a small campus, can go home for dinner whenever he wants(you think I'm kidding that's big for him and his very close family) Congrats Todd, you'll help them immediatly Also heard as other that Bo will be there or MSJ as he has decided to pursue basketball not football. He was not a fan of working year around to play 12 games and is excited about pursing bball
  15. The rest of the state considers it so even if we don't so I guess that's what matters BTW No Flynn from CCH ? You can't measure heart and this guy got the biggest one in the state. BG getting all those players is comical they were completely dominated by CCH in every facet of the game, if they have 5 or 6 DI kids like everyone was saying before the game they must have been in the locker room that night
