What a great match up for the playoffs! I can't imagine it could be any more exciting than the regular season game that was a thriller to the end. Guess we will see Friday night. I look for it to be a battle again. Good luck to both teams.

What a game! The house was packed and the fans were great. Congrats to Boone on the win. Oh how we Raider fans wished it could have turned out different. But boys you played a good solid game. The loss is a heartbreaker but you learned a lot about yourselves last night so take those lessons and use them to help keep you playing into December. Can't wait for a rematch!

I think this game is going to turn out to be a real barn burner! Boone/Ryle is always a great game anyway. They both are playing good ball right now and it will fun to watch the competition. Looks like Union will be THE place to be Friday night!!

Cory made a verbal commitment to UK baseball sometime ago. His aunt is one of my best friends and his first love is baseball. He is a great kid and he will represent NKY well in whatever he chooses to do.

I think their passing game is decent. They are too inconsistent for me to say they are improving each week but they do never give up and that will serve them well into next season.

I do know what you mean. Back in the day when Conner was new football, basketball and picking corn was about all there was to do! Times have definitely changed. It is a class act not to run up the score on an opponent but it is tough on the seniors who just want to play the game. Good to see you on here again. It looks to be a perfect football weather night so enjoy the game.

It looks like this game may turn out to be a great night of High School football. I don't see either team running away with it. No school on game day will give the Ryle players a chance to rest up and prepare for the trip and the game. Raiders you need to keep your cool so you don't rack up penalty after penalty. Control the clock and you should have a fun bus ride back home! GO RAIDERS :flame:

After watching both teams play this season, I have to give this one to the Breds by lots of points. This season is another tough one for the Cougars but I do think they have the talent to start turning things around. Next season will most likely be very different for the players out in Hebron.

I have no doubt that they are a tough group of kids. I know the coach and the strides he has made with the Tigers. But you can bet after the Ryle game NCC is going to be ready to avenge their loss. I don't think the Tigers are going to simply roll over but I do think that the Breds will outman and outlast them. Sorry but that is my prediction.

Breds win BIG... I predict there will be a running clock and the Tigers will be grateful it is over that much quicker.

I know it's been a couple of years but a girl can dream can't she? Before you know it between kids and grandkids I will have 35 years in of going to football games! and thanks for not mentioning the VERY slight difference in our ages! :sssh: :sssh:

Thanks Proud Papa! It was wonderful to see you again, thanks for welcoming the orange shirt in the sea of blue and gold!! It was an incredible game to see. What a compettition this game turns out to be year after year. I hope this games stays on the schedule for a long time to come. They are both quality, classy programs and this non-district game just helps both teams get to where they want to be in December! Down to the final count it was either teams game to win or lose and both teams will learn so much about themselves that will help catapult them through the playoffs. Dylan, great interception!! I would like to see Ryle put the ball in the air a little more, they can do it they just have to believe they can do it. NCC players never gave up the fight. I hope their coaches take another look at their play calling on the last set of downs and rethink them if they get in that situation again. Even with the light delay, it was a great night of high school football. I hope both teams will support each other come December!! BTW Proud Papa, I didn't realize we met when we were three since we have been friends 32 years and now we are only 35! :lol: :lol:

No one from Ryle should doubt the horses and their ability. After NCC's spectacular win at last years state championship game taking them lightly would be dangerous and I am sure the coaches and the players are well aware of that. It may have been last years team but I am sure the heart and the drive to win are still with this years team. The last couple of years the contest between these two teams has been a lot of fun to watch. I have no doubt that this weeks game will prove to be the same. I don't see the score being lopsided at all, I think it will be a close, hard fought battle. GO RAIDERS!!!

You will find that the Raider Faithful will not take kindly to any critcism of our announcer, Jay. He is hands down the classiest and most impartial announcer around! Even when his own boys were in the program he always gave both teams equal time and equal praise. Jay, keep it up, we love ya!

Not that it matters at this point, but at least one-half of the stands in front of the press box is always full of Raider Fans, as it was last night. The same people sit there game after game and has been that way for years! Thanks for the Congratulations, we will make NKY 4A very proud!

I am not sure why you think the attendance for Ryle was small, it was not!! It was a standing room only crowd, with 2/3 of the bleachers being Raider fans!! I thought that Ryle has never won a 2nd round playoff game before last night. When did they make it to the 3rd round before?
