Is there not a very big difference between "thinking" and publicly posting something? The original poster (that Watusi answered) didn't think he needed to apologize, so how come you think you need to defend him? I guess you see he made a bad post yourself.

I heartily agree. I can remember when my team was having a bad year and still made the playoffs only to have to face a giant and have little or no chance whatsoever to do anything but be humiliated again. I wished that we didn't have to play the game. And for the team you described, I understand. 0-10 is a much better record than 0-11. A lot of teams have self respect and would rather not be in the playoffs when they are not competitive but the system puts them there anyway. It has to be more of an honor to have earned a spot in the playoffs rather than just being given one.
