  1. Williams is playing well. Getting some rebounds, seven points in the quarter. 46-32 Raiders.
  2. I believe Lincoln has all three's this quarter. 41-32..
  3. Freshman Williams is getting some good time. 41-29
  4. McCreary on 8-0 run with two Watts 3s...
  5. 31-29 McCreary.. Right under 5 left in the 3rd.
  6. Yes, I'm listening. Thank you very much, LC.
  7. McCreary desperately needs a radio station to follow them. Last year, 93.1 in Wayne County was kind enough to extend the service in the Lincoln/McCreary and McCreary/West Jessamine games in the region tournament, even after Wayne was out.
  8. Raiders went on a nice little run to end the half.
  9. Thanks for the updates, LC. Keep me updated.
  10. From everything I understand, Derrick Smith will be hired as the new head coach of the Raiders. He is stepping into a tough situation with the graduation of both Roark and Watts, along with many linemen. With that said, best of luck. I believe he coached the middle school at one time, but I don't know for what period of time.
  11. Well.. I do not know what to say.
  12. The Raiders host the Patriots of Lincoln County Tuesday night in a matchup that could be a dandy or a blowout. The Raiders hoist a 14-5 record, including 9-1 in the region, the only team with one loss or less. Lincoln is 11-6 and 6-2 in the region. McCreary Central averages 66.5 points per game while only giving up 54.6 per game in their 19 games. However, McCreary averages 72.1 in region games, while only giving up 50.6 - basically winning region games by 22 per. Lincoln County averages 58.5 points per game while giving up 53.7 per. Likewise, Lincoln is averaging 61.2 in region play, while giving up 50.2 - averaging almost 12 point wins in each contest. Should be a dandy. McCreary had won two straight before Lincoln snapped the streak in the regular season last year. The Raiders returned the favor in the semi's of the region tournament.
  13. I will have to agree with the Banker. McCreary may have something to do with Southwesterns inability to play a complete game. With that said, I would not be surprised if Southwestern gave the Raiders a fight for the title (assuming the Raiders beat Monticello.) The district is held in the Wigwam this season, correct?
  14. And for McCreary to play an off-game. It is possible, but not probable. With that said, Southwestern (in your words) has not played a complete game all season, what makes you think that will change? They are young. They will compete with Wayne next season for the district, as McCreary will probably be down.
  15. McCreary won both games by nearly twenty. They won by 19 at home and 18 in the Wigwam. How does that constitute as "staying with them." Thing is, McCreary had an off night in Somerset when they played Southwestern and still beat them handily. I'm not saying that Southwestern can't beat the Raiders, but you are making it sound like a missed shot here and there beat them.
  16. McCreary schedule will have them so prepared down the stretch. There won't be a style they haven't seen, and they will not play the size and athletes that they played this season. With that said, Lincoln is so up and down like you said. Danville could sneak into the region tournament and it not really be a surprise.
  17. McCreary plays and wins against #10 team and #14 team and is ranked #18th. Then they play the #2 team and lose and fall to 20th.
  18. The 45th is way down compared to the past 6 or 7 years. Without a doubt, I think the 48th may be the best followed closely by the 46th.
  19. That was also the first round game, which had been a struggle for the Raiders for a while. With that said, McCreary will face Monticello. With a win, they've ensured themselves a spot in the region. Remember, last season McCreary was in a struggle against Southwestern and ultimately, they prevailed and rolled the Cardinals for the title.
  20. Yes, very ugly. However, Raiders won by 19 at home and 18 on the road. I'll take it. Raiders clinched #1 seed in district tournament.
  21. I don't know if this is breaking a rule. I doubt it, but if it is indeed, it is not intended and can be removed. What kind of pay do the coaches at X and T get? Also, what are their coordinators paid?
  22. I think it is more of the competition. The players, outside of Watts, seemed intimidated by Scott County, and maybe rightfully so. With that said, McCreary will not face a team in the region as good as Scott County, or even Male, Seneca, or LexCath. As McCreary continues to play against the 12th, you will see more contributions from other players. Those players don't usually miss those chip shots and Dixon is usually money from behind the arc. Additionally, Roark won't face the size and athleticism in the paint as he has with the aforementioned teams.
