I've gotta say I'm surprised. I think Warren Central should be lower and Bowling Green higher. I'm guessing the LexCath and Tates Creek placements factor heavily into Central's position.

I think it is more of two new teams moving to the top 10. Shelby Valley moved from #14 to #9, and Christian Co moving from #11 to #8.

I'm not worried about who moves ahead of WC, I think WC should be lower than where they are now.

I know you are not worried and agree thought WC would be lower.

If Newport wins the 9th Region All A will they finally crack the top 20? Highlands is at 17 and Newport beat them by 20 earlier this year.

I haven't seen many teams outside on NKY this year, but I can't imagine Newport not deserving to be on this list.

I agree...Newport is definetly a top 20 team if you ask me.

I'm also surprised to see Scott Co ahead of Ballard and Holmes.

Didn't Ballard beat Scott Co? The Bruins also have just one in state loss and that's to Trinity, but they also beat Trinity earlier in the season.

I'd probably go with the following top 5:

1. Trinity

2. Ballard

3. Holmes

4. Scott Co

5. J'town

McCreary Central should be ranked higher, and Corbin should be in the Top 20 for sure.

It looks pretty good to me. At this point I really like the top 5 and could be in about any order. LexCath should definitly be in the top 10 though.

I suggest you go south on either 71 or 75 then. :thumb:

Corbin is close to crackin' the top 20. But I'll take a page out of the Les book,,,,"play somebody". Only team with a resume' is Scott Co. And that was a loss on a neutral court.

Who has Shelby Valley played to date?

Absolutely nobody! They have not played a top team in the state this year. They only play one top 20 team the entire season. Looks they would have to beat someone to get in the top 10?

Close? Maybe you should actually see Corbin play. Come on down, we'll give you free popcorn. Like I said, rankings don't mean a thing when it comes March. All they are here for is people like me to shoot'em down or give'em praise.

Top five looks good. 6-10, should be a change or two, but it ain't going to happen, I don't think.

I would think Newport could have made the list.
