McCreary plays and wins against #10 team and #14 team and is ranked #18th.

Then they play the #2 team and lose and fall to 20th.

Yep, doesn't make much sense. They should be rated higher than 20th.

Manual moves to 12 - 7 and defeats Male. Male has a losing record, perhaps Manual should replace Male at #14.

Absolutely nobody! They have not played a top team in the state this year. They only play one top 20 team the entire season. Looks they would have to beat someone to get in the top 10?

Does coming close count?

Does coming close count?

Only in horse shoes and hand grenades!:D

McCreary Central should be ranked higher, and Corbin should be in the Top 20 for sure.

Corbin not being in the top 20 is laughable. Only two losses, and have played a quality schedule. I would argue that their schedule to date is better than Lexington Catholic's. Corbin beat Clay Co. at their place by 10, Lex Cath squeaks by Clay by 2. If LC "is definately top 10", then Corbin should be top 10.

Corbin is close to crackin' the top 20. But I'll take a page out of the Les book,,,,"play somebody". Only team with a resume' is Scott Co. And that was a loss on a neutral court.
Doc I know you and Les have this love/hate thing going, but this argument could be made about a few others that are in the top 20.

You're kidding ...

The scoreboard site says LexCath won by 12 ... which is right?

Even if it was a two-point game, I would venture to say there is quite a difference between LexCath visiting Clay and Corbin visiting Clay.

My theory is if you are not number 1 then it is time to get busy anyway. Congrats Trinity for holding this top spot. Everyone else needs to get back in the gym.

I was going by the thread which is evidently wrong. I am not kidding about Catholic's schedule, I don't think it has been that difficult thus far. Where are their quality wins?

That is as close to saying, the Wildcats/Cardinals/Eagles/Panthers or the high school teams that plays the University of Notre Dame fight song, play a tough schedule.

Yes CovCatholic, NewCatholic and O-Catholic, all play tough schedules! :thumb:

Ummm, sorry Westsider, you're wrong on that one. Come down and pay a visit to ole southern Kentucky and you'll see. The Corbin/Clay rivalry is BIG, so I don't get where you're coming from at all.

LexCath at Clay, with 13th Region officials ... big difference.

LexCath's schedule is superior. I would say the Knights have more quality wins than Corbin.
