J LIt was very good, but didn't get much publicity due to Lofton and Grutza. Wes Jones COULD have been a star, and probab;y moved on to the next level if not for the incident during State Tournament. Many in maysville point to that stopping back to back titles.

Oh, I agree. Just giving an answer to the question. If they can break the record of 95.5, that's a pretty big accomplishment.

According to the KHSAA website, it hasn't happnened as long as they've been keeping records. Onieda Baptist in 1983 averaged 95.5/game. BTW, the 49 point 1st quarter was the second largest in state history behind Jackson City's 51 point effort against MMI in 1992.

I worried that in 2011, Bracken County is going to be a 2A school. I think we're pretty close on enrollment right now. We're gonna have to get some to transfer to Augusta!
