One of Leslie Co.'s players is looking for a summer team to play on. Would love to find a team fairly close in distance. If anyone has any information, it would be greatly appreciated.:thumb:

I agree, both Jimmy Joe and Quinten Morgan looked great! The LCC team looked to be very solid. Also, it doesn't appear that being out with an injury has affected Gavin Wells' bat or fielding abilities at all! We are all glad that he's back and look forward to all starters being back at district playoffs!:ylsuper:

neither team is invincible to leslie's defense they have been without 2-3 starters for the last three weeks.

I agree with your top two, especially since Leslie has more quality wins than Lee does. Leslie has wins over Knott Co., Somerset, Paintsville, Clark Co. and a tough Cawood team.

Excuse me, but Powell Co. is the team that beat Leslie in the regional tourney! 5-4 in the bottom of the 7th on a two run homer.

Anyone know of any summer league teams in Eastern, Southeastern or Central Kentucky? Info will be greatly appreciated.

Apparently you do not know baseball as well as you think. Gavin Wells' batting average has been above 500 for the last two seasons and he has hit several homeruns. He tied with Riley Hendrix for most hits on the team last year. Numbers speak for themselves.

I agree Hazard should have a good team again and also with Leslie, this team only lost to Hazard 1-0 in the district tournment last year with Hazard scoring their only run in the bottom of the seventh . Leslie does return all starters except for one and also picked up some additional ammo that should boost their team tremendously.

One of the best hitters both for average and power is Leslie County's second baseman Gavin Wells.
