Lexington Catholic was involved in 5 different state championship games this year, AAA football, girls soccer, girls basketball, lacross, and baseball and they won 3 of them.... If you ask me that is a wonderful and amazing acomplishment.

Lexington Catholic's Will osborne tank/leveled/bulled or what ever u want to call it this one player from Rockcastles in the semis last year. Lets just say its one of those hits that you dont forget.

He is the Horsemen's GM but he is going to be Catholics Qb coach at the same time. Thats what he told the team.

Coach Bill Letton told me today that Dusty Bonner the former Uk Qb and fomer Lex. Horsemen Qb will take the Qb Job for lexcath. This will be Coach Lettons first coaching hire and lexcath and i have to say it seems to be a pretty good one.:banana: :dancingpa

Im not to sure about his pst coaching experiance so im not going to say incase i am wrong, but the he is verry active in the paris/bourbon co. community and I think that he will have the support of the people in the county

This is great news indead,I was told by a very good friend of mine that Rick Massie took the job as Bourbon Co. head coaching position, this man is deserving of this chance to help. If some people remember Rick Massie was the STANDOUT walk on wide reciever at UK and he went on the play in the NFL for the Denver Broncos. I hope He does well and I wish him much luck in rebuilding a once storied program.:dancingpa

Burke does now hold the state passing td record in single season (62). But he did get that record with the help of Wes cadwell and cornell burbage.

Im just curoius to see what others think about is Justin Burke was one of the best Qb's this state had?

Lexcath does loose a lot from last year, but they are returning some very great skill players such as Ben Rever(ive noticed noone talked about him and he shut down a lot of great receivers last year) wes cawdwell who lead the state in receiving td's(but a big chunke of those with the help of burke) shane isreal , winston guy and jacob locknane are all very talented players who are all stong and fast at the same time... i think all of them run a 4.6 or faster.... As for question about the unexperianced line is gonna hurt them, but after seeing a few practices it really looks like this new line is coming together really fast, there not gonna be at the level as last years line was but i think that by mid-season they might just be able to get the jobn done... and for the most obvious issue is to replace the state record holder for most passiing td's Qb Justin Burke.. the two front runners for this spot is a Sr Tyler Hancock has desent feat and a average arm but i think is cabaple of gettingh it down withthe support of shane isreal.... the Other Qb is Soph Will Letton, he is the son of the newly appointed head coach Bill letton, He is a lil inexperianced but i think he has a powerful arm and if he can get down with his accuracy i thin khe is gonna be a speacial Qb... thats my report for lexcath

Conrgarts to you Will. It was a special experiance watching you play this year as my Sr. leader. You i have to agree with stick1 that you are everything a higschool football player should be and you taught me a lot just by watching you. I hope that everything goes well for you in college and im going to miss you buddy. Ill never forget that hit that you had against Rockcastle in the State semi's during that punt return. you changed the way i look at football and the way i play. good luck and God bless
