He started out at Flemming County. He started their as an 8th grader and then before his freshman year moved to Clark Co. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

While Jenkins is a very good shooter, I'll take this one over anyone in the state.

Ferguson is as good as anyone in that state and the BEST shooter and scorer in the state, IMO. His numbers alone make him a legit canidate. I agree Eric Mosley will make himself known.

If Elliott County loses, it won't be because they don't know how to handle themselves in a close game.

According to catspause, if he agrees to go to prep school next year then UK has offered him a scholly for 2010.

Why would Elliott County practice a pace of play in a game that isn't going to make them better? When will they ever slow it down when tournament time comes around? Even in blow out wins, Elliott County has got to find ways to get better. That isn't going to make Elliott County better. That being said, EC didn't run the score up on anyone.

That is one of the most ridiculous comments I have ever read on this board. Because they play 15 game against their own region they won't be able to beat the good teams.

Do you really think those 15 games are going to hurt Elliott Co so bad that they arent going to be able to win come tourney time?

Money has nothing to do with anything. I don't have the schedule in front of me right now but I can assure you that atleast half of those games are Eastern Kentucky Conference games. That is the same conference that Elliott Co has played in for the last 50 years. Lets just not play those games this year because we have a really good team. The coaches at Elliott Co have more than just this year to think about. While Elliott Co basketball has a bright future, they are not going to be this good every year.

Ok, lets look at what the coach did with the schedule outside the region. Beach Ball Classic -- 4 games against top teams in the country. Kentucky Bank Shootout -- South Charlestion, WV which is one of the tops teams in their state. Kentucky Prep Classic -- Anderson Co. favorite to win their region Mason Co -- top 25 team in the state That is 7 game against some of the top teams in the state and country for that matter. Elliott Co. has potiental to play more top 25 teams as the All "A" State tourney. Elliott only plays 8 homes game this year as well. They have already played a top 10 team in the preseason and a top 25 team. Again, they can't help what region they are in. So with that being said, King James please tell me what more he could have done?

Thats great. This scheduling stuff is getting old though to a lot of people. They can't help what region they are in and they can't help that they can only play a certain amount of games. They beat two top 25 teams in the preseason, Clark Co. by 20+ and Madisonville by 30+, but what those are just scrimmages. They only have a certaiin amount of games they can play and a lot of them goes to contracted games, EKC conference games that they play in every year since there was an Elliott Co., and they have to allow for the All "A" state tournament as well. That takes out MOST of the games they are allowed to play. The remaining games they have picked up against great competiton which will have them prepared to play come March. Lets not forget that almost all of players have played AAU basketball, against the best of the best, since there were in the 6th grade.

No one has to beat Duncanville, or a team like Duncanville, to make it to Saturday night at Rupp.:thumb:

South Charleston is very capable of beating Elliott County.
