In a swing game with both teams getting wins on the other teams floor. I say Augusta will take this one again. But as in most A-town wins it will not come easy.

No doubt, I dont know how so much heart got put in such a small body. She plays like she is 6'. And as far as the being a gifted athelete, you can't deny that she is atop the list also.

She had 21 the Lady Bears lost by 6, Good call Big Daddy.

Pendleton with a 11 point halftime lead holds off the scrappy young players of Bracken. The Lady Bears would lead after one 15-13 only to drop the second frame 22-9 beind the scoring od Scaggs and Kelsch. Kelsch of Pendleton would score the game high 21 points. First time I have seen her this year and just can drive to the basket with ease.She has a bright future and could make a heck of a coach later on. Scaggs would be the key mostly in the second hitting some bigg 3s. My hat is off to the Lady Bears too. They had their backs to the wall at one point but kept fighting back. Just came up short at the end. These young Ladys will just keep improving and maturing and make alot of noise later on. Bracken was led in scoring by Alex (Grace) Rogers with 15. Good job young lady. Shawn started for Steven Cummins, Cummins had his nose broken in St. Pat Game. Also with the departure of another player had to help fill two holes.

In what was a tight game in the first half Augusta went into the second half with with a two point lead. Augusta would put together a complete game and win big in the end. Big free throws at the end of the game by Josh White and Dustin Staggs would prove to be the difference. The brothers White, Shawn and Josh did a good job tonight in setting the game tempo. Good job Shawn in your first Varsity start. Dustin Staggs led Augusta with 21 points 12 boards. Josh White adds 12 points, 7 from the free throw line. A good game from Brayde Hamilton with 12 points also Matt Groves 10, Jeremy Hardymon 8, S.White 3, Steven Cummins 2 Augusta improved to 7-9 JV Game was also won by Augusta 47 -25 Ty Krebs led Augusta again with 17 Points Chris Mofford 9, Shawn White 9, Brayde Hamilton 8, and Jo Jo Gray 4 Jv record now stands at 7-5

I was also told the SG-Paris game is at Paris. Look at Paris sch. on this site it shows Bracken Co. as the site. True Or Not

Any thoughts on this on. I think Paris is better then their record shows. Will find out tonight. I will take Paris by 4.

I have not seen Nicholas Co. this year so I am not too sure how well they are playing. Havin seen a few Lady Bear games it think there is few things that need to happen. First, They are a young team and need a vocal leader on the floor. Second, without Kauinui on the floor Ahrens and Rogers are both going to finish with confidence. Third, McDowell needs to hit from outside, In the games I been too she has not taken as many shots as I would like to see. I hope they can get back on track, sorry I will not be able to see this one.
