I have heard two stories and just would like to know for sure. Is BB not playing in the All A Classic. On one thread I read it was said to be a rumor. I just don't see them on the Brackets. Thanks

Yep, they are in it.

 

They will play the winner of Paris and Silver Grove on January 24th.

Thanks, I looked at the brackets were Augusta, Silver Grove, Ect. were on this site. Just must not list it untill they know who they play.

With the way Brossart plays defense as long as they shoot halfway decent from the field they are going to be in every game. We already discussed their game with the Royals way too much. BUT defensively they really impressed me.

 

Good luck to them in their hunt for that All A title. : )

Brossart should be a prohibitive favorite to win the 10th region All "A." Their biggest threat might just come from Bracken County, which is the host school.

 

By the way, Brossart (or whoever wins the region), will open up state tournament play on Thursday, February 1 at 9:00am against the 9th region winner. It could be an early morning northern Kentucky reunion.

Silver Grove plays at Paris on Monday, January 22 @ 7:30. The winner travels to Brossart on Wednesday, January 24 @ 7:30. The winner of that game moves on to the semifinals at Bracken County High School on Friday, January 26 @ 6:30.

 

Other first round matchups, all played on Wednesday, January 24 @ 7:30:

-Deming @ Calvary Christian

-Paris/Silver Grove winner @ Bishop Brossart

-Augusta @ Nicholas County

-St. Patrick @ Bracken County
