Looks like the Tigers hung with em until Grainger left the mound. Tough when you are limited on arms unlike the Birds who seem stacked. Highlands starter Joe Martin was bringing some heat in the limited time I was there watching. How hard does Grainger throw? Also curious why he throws from the stretch all the time. I saw KB get a nice RBI hit and Kreeger crush one to the fence for the Birds. Whitford also had a nice poke for a single/RBI behind in the count. Congrats to the Birds.

Lol I had to leave. 3-3 when I left. Whitford with a single down line to score a run. I missed his jack but heard it was 30 yes past the fence.

That is the hard part of coaches recruiting players and either leaving for better jobs or getting the ax. Im sure Shaka Smart has recruits at VCU who are re-considering.

Highlands seems to have done a good job of keeping plenty of Frosh to develop but also bringing up some of the better 8th Graders to get that experience. In fact I thought I heard where 8th grader Grady Cramer also played some JV last week. Maybe someone in the know can confirm.

Best of luck to Hagen I am sure he will land somewhere and have a great opportunity. I was kind of looking forward to seeing him play at BOK Arena.

Grady Cramer and Bryce Zeigler are both 8th graders. Cramer is a crafty pitcher and Zeigler can rake. Congrats to the Baby Birds.
