Not trying to harp on your boys Old Guy, but I've been watching CCH baseball for quite a few years and the team I saw yesterday does not compare with any I have seen. Evedently Krumps felt the same way when he pulled the entire team down the right field line in the third inning for a good ole butt chewing. Could be the start and stop of a rainy season that has them off, but the weather didn't seem to effect Conner.

Sure didn't see that comming.

Might be a long season for you Old Guy. None of the three CCH pitchers were overbearing tonight. Not much pop in the bats either. Other then some poor baserunning, Conner seems to be hitting on all cylinders.

Agree....I still would not have trusted the kid to hit a spot, I would rather pitch to Mark, who is a very good hitter but more apt to hit it at someone.

I agree, that is the one chink in Cory's armour. He has always tried to pull the outside pitch, so we pitched him outside and he never hurt us. Usually grounded to second. If he learns to go with the pitch on the outside corner his average will go up as he will hit more balls up the middle or threw a hole on the left side.

Everryone knew last years Raiders were fast ball hitters. That's why Krumps didn't pitch Blesser in four opportunities, Holy Cross didn't throw Jimmy Ryan, they threw Abe's, a junk baller, and won. Boone threw Krohman once because thats all they had, and lost.....Beechwood threw Elliott and lost, Dixie didn't throw Matt... Nutini was probably throwing mid 70's in the region. As soon as Krumps went to Isler, who throws a little harder, most of us knew this was a mistake.

OK......I walk Farris and pitch to Reid.

Let's see...... Down 2 runs with a man on and Farris at the plate and Reid on deck. Farris hits for power, Reid, a slap hitter....let me think about this a while.

I think he does coach some of the young tallent in the summer.

Prediction....both coaches throw a 3 or 4 pitcher. Both coaches play some small ball. Should be fun. Although.....I might throw my best pitcher, because both teams will use their ace in the Region to get to the title game.

Not too sure about that....although Lloyd has not played a tough schedule, the only quality team that Dixie played so far is a struggling Cov Cath.
