  1. IMO Gallatin will be in the finals. Their Seniors have all played and started the the last two years so they have game experience in that atmosphere and gym. They will be focused and ready to win. Gallatin's coaches will have them prepared to win it!!!
  2. I didn't think he had all of the starters in together at that point, but I would imagine it was because Walton can go on a 3 point shooting run and it is better to be safe than sorry.
  3. Taylor Jones has really impressed me this year. He takes care of the ball, takes a beaten half the time and has to deal with jabs and remarks from the opponents, refs, and the crowd for being the coaches son. Way to take care of your team Taylor and keep playing hard!
  4. I know a peewee football coach that always told his team. "Play like you've been there. If you score a touchdown, no need to celebrate, just give the ball back to the ref, like you've been there 100 times, business as usual".:thumb:
  5. You better be there. Hmmm Work or Gallatin/Walton Game? Decision should be easy:confused:
  6. Maddox and then is his teammates will take the next 6 spots for ya:thumb:
  7. I just have to say that the coaches and the players did a wonderful job tonight to turn things around in the second half. If any of you have not seen Gallatin play, you really should come and watch this group of boys play. I have watched alot of basketball in my life and I have never seen a team play like this Gallatin team. They play to win for their coaches ,their fans, but most importantly for each other. There were many other team coaches there tonight scouting. And one group of coaches said to me. "Now that was a good ol' Country a_ _ whooin. right there" I still have a smile on my face :-) way to go Comeback Cats!
  8. No Way????? Really! You might want to re-think this. Gallatin played with Holmes with one of our best players sitting out the second half.:thumb:
  9. It was a very good guess! Closer than mine... Geezul! Just joking with TB&G...
  10. Doesn't 60-53= 7??? Very good game. Capacity crowd there and the atmosphere was electric. Congrats to Gallatin for 6-0 in district play.
  11. This is not a could, they will lock up the #1 seed with win.

  13. Spilly, I agree, I have seen many of these boys play ball through the years on AAU and BCPWFL and there have been some talented athletes.
  14. I agree:thumb: Coach Mullins is a class individual, and is a good young coach.
  15. An old football coach I had told me this once... The only way to win is to put more points on the board than the other team. Turns out he was right!
  16. I am not certain I follow what you are trying to say by the winning record statements here. I know that in all the years I highlghted Gallatin County had winning records. So what is your point saying this?
  17. When was the last time someone from the eighth took home the hardware?
  18. Are you serious??? Gallatin beat WV in their home floor, and was missing a very good player(J Carlton) in that game. Home court advantage has me thinking Gallatin beats Walton Verona by 20+... especially after seeing them play tough this past weekend in the Lloyd Memorial tourney.
  19. I'm going to go ahead and predict on the Gallatin/Walton game. With both teams at full strength I'm going to say: GC: 84 WV:59 It's only a 25 point spread because of gallatins "homecourt advantage" and not simply being better than walton.
  20. Good atmosphere, nice tournament. Thanks for the clean restrooms!
  21. Gallatin gave Holmes the best game of the Tournament. Holmes players were very polite to our players after the game. Good Luck to Holmes in the 9th!!!
  22. Good game for the Wildcats! Knocked off another big school. The Cats earn the right to play one of Northern Kentucky's best teams Saturday evening when they take on the Holmes Bulldogs. Good luck Cats and way to go!
