Great win for the Jumpers. They really showed how good they can be. They had a great pitching performance by Jordy Molen. He pitched 7 quality innings, and had 12 strikeouts. He gave up 3 runs, off of a bad call that really started it. Also there was a blowup by P.C. but Somerset was able to capitalize off of the errors and played there best ball I've seen all year.

i would not put any bit of faith in this list because of the two kids from pulaski southwestern. neither are d1 players unless coach anderson can work some miracles

Somerset scrimmaged Dunbar on Saturday in 7 innings Somerset got beat 10-8 Jeremy Toohey did very well cashing in 2 double's. Kenny Hughes hit a home run.

I would take the 12th region come on teams arent going to respect you just cause you won pretty much a invitational tournament with only the best 1 a teams. Beat a 4a 3a or something get to Rupp that is far better. I dont know many teams that at the beggining of the season say lets go to Richmond. They want the big dog the main show they want to play at Rupp. This is something Somerset I think needs to do. I mean we give rings for being runner up in the All A. Come on now get you a regional ring instead. They are far more impressive and respectful.

I don't know what happens to us down here in Somerset. We always do very real in the regular season. We play good and show signs of a team at Rupp. Until All A then after that it seems are team goes down a little bit. We certainly do not play well in the regional games. I don't know when the last time we won a region. However I think with the growth and development of 2 sophomores John Cole and Corey Price getting to start most of the season. Also a good Junior class we should be solid next year. Hate it for the Seniors though Ray Norman and Nathan Holton carried this team all season really made it there team.

Read the Courier Journal and there was a article about it. What are your thoughts?

I think that there needs to be a split. Even though it would not help the All A classic in anyway. It would be a very good thing for the Sweet 16 because there will be more private schools then public schools. It would also help in football, pretty much every sport. They need to split because it is a joke when public can't recruit and private can. You are playing at a unfair advantage.

Somerset Not quite i dont know. Southwestern is suppose to be good and Pulasi is decent. Probably Southwester they have Barnscum she can throw it pretty hard i heard.

I wouldnt mind bump somerset up to Class AA i would love it we would roll in that class it is probably the weakest class in KHSAA. Move us up we will be ready.

Both are outstanding players i personally think that Mayo has more passion for the game and plays harder so he is probably the better player in my mind.

I am pretty sure we scrimmage Mercer County we do it every year so i assume we will.

Yes you start out with a clean slate in high school. There is no sitting out a year or anything.

Im thinking Highlands they turn a lot of people back. They are always a threat. After making it to the region with the people they had they seem detin to repeat once again.

So much for them haveing a off year thuis year. They are going to roll through richmond with another Championship.

University Heights again

We lost a lot of seniors this year. However we have a lot of juniors and sophomore's. We will be pretty good next year and i don't see why we can't have the same results as last year. Hopefully a little better then last year.

Well we are working hard in the weight room and I beileve with only losing 2 members from the offensive line we should be pretty solid. Phillip Lowery Michael Hager and Jonathan Whitson lead the line and Cam Jones and Kyle Moore at linebacker and Corner. We should be pretty nice next year.

Yes they do but they are split like there is a souther cal team and a northern and such along with a all state team that plays other states. They also have that in Texas

Ray Correll and Tony Massey from Somerset

This is a little crazy right now the season is about 5 to 6 months away. I don't know if there needs to be a preseason poll right now. However I think if Somerset can play there game and have a good off season which I think we should have and can have a good spring and summer we will be a threat to contend this year even though we have lost alot.

I like the environment and the field of Somerset personally. The best place though is probably Corbin. The field was in great condition. Also the environment was unbelivable.

I don't think so from what i heard he is just going there for the education anyway. As you know NC State is a very good acadimic school. I think he goes but will not be as effective as people think.
