Bourbon was a 3 seed that year and went to Somerset and beat them, then went to Boyle and beat them, then host Lex Cath that was a 4 seed that year. The following year Bourbon was a 4 seed and went to Corbin (1 seed) and beat them 37-17.

THe 5 linemen that BC used this year one was a Jr. that did not get to play last year because of a shoulder injury, one was a senior that had not played since he was a freshman, and then 3 seniors that started last year and one of them had to have knee surgery 3 weeks ago. The next 2 linemen that BC used were both sophmores one of which did not play last year. BC also lost there leading rusher to graduation and there fullback was also a senior. Poynter moveed the QB to RB since the starting RB from last year graduated.So the QB for this year is a sophmore. The other RB is a freshman. Also BC lost there top 4 rec from last year that totaled 899 yards. I guess that is why BC is one dimensional this year. First year starting QB that is sophmore and all WR are gone. Not looking for arguement just stating facts. :isurrender:

Bourbon will never play Trimble. NEVER EVER. I know several class A teams that will beat even 6A teams. Beechwood is Class A and they will beat alot of people. As will Mayfield, LCA,Frankfort, Hazard. What about 2A should? Should 2A also lose to 4A? New Cath, Corbin, Danvile, just to name a few. LCA beat the defending state runner-up Breathitt Co. pretty well this year. But always good to hear your comments. BC will NEVER play TC.

Bourbon could be on that list as they were one dimensional in 1997 and won the state championship that year.:sssh:

Trimble was alot more diverse in 06 and 07 as in 06 they rushed for 2250 and passed for 1302. 2007 TC rushed for 2963 and passed for 1740. That is not one dimensional. :sssh:

Someone needs to tell Belfry, Russell, Bell Co., Johnson Central, Scott Co., just to name a few of that. Yea by the way Trimble is a high flying offense huh. Here is the Raiders passing stats for the year 17 of 61 that is 27.8% (BC has a 30.4% completion rate) Trimble has thrown 10 Ints against 3 TD passes (BC has thrown 1 TD pass and 1 Int) Trimble has thrown for 304 yards (33 yards a game) and BC has thrown for 135 yards. LET IT FLY RAIDERS!!! Also they have one common opponent Owen Co. which TC lost by 16 points to and BC beat Owen by 21 points. See if you can get your coach to call Poynter and see if they would like to schedule a game.
