Where will the bell go this year? Will the Wildcats finally bring it back?Will NCC hold on to it for another year?

The field is ready come down for the dedication 8-17-06 the Newport Wildcats JV team will scrimmage the Freshmen team see some of the future stars for the Wilcats the dedication will begin at 6:00 the scrimmage will follow around 8:00.

Ark is going to be playing at Newport he was at practice today

NCC is a defending state champ and Beechwood has allways been a power house in NKY so I think ether one of those teams could beat any one at any time.

Some one said the Freshmen team for Newport got killed, Conner scored like 8 times.

The field is allmost finished and it looks great good job to every one glad to see Newport shaping up.

Nathan Ilg 131 from Newport took 2nd place.

Newport looked good with Jacob Ilg having 5 pins in the first period of each match,as a team they finished in 5th place. Does any one Know how the other teams/wrestlers came out?

They might think they are but if they would have showed up they might have found out differnt.

Coach Middleton is doing a great job with those kides,in time the technique will come around and with the numbers they have I think they will compete in the near future.

Who wouldn't be there if they could draw kides from any area,public scools are kides from that district I would say Highlands, Beechwood,

Jacob Ilg was undefeated last year for the Middle School and has moved on to the High School He will be Wrestling varsity this year. The boy he lost to in the state tourney was from Campbell Co. I don't remember his name.

They are the last hope for Northern Ky we are all pulling for them.

This was a big game and not every one has what it take to play and win big games thats the answer for the first half of play and why the game came out with Russell on top they have what it takes.

Well after what I seen out of Russell when they played Newport I new they was going to win it all, the game they played last night they have what it takes to win those close games, should be a good one good luck to both teams.
