From what I hear they are a really good team.The Dixie boy's looked really good last night and deserved this win. Good job last night and keep up the good work guy's!

Actually Dixie has quite a few returning players this year. I believe Taylor Dickman played in every game at Center Field, Brennan Thomas played quite a bit at right field, Joe Schaeper got some starts at 1st and was in the batting lineup for quite a few games, and Patrick Rottinghaus was in the game pitching quite often and ran bases a lot. Dixie will also be getting some players back from injury. I am sad to hear Dixie will have to play another season at Turkeyfoot again. Go Colonels!

Does Dixie have any good players moving up this year? Seems like everyone is counting Dixie out already before they even know what our team looks like.From what I have heard we have a couple new pitchers and some really good hitters moving up. Good Luck Dixie hope you have a great season!

Everyone is going with such high scoring games and saying Boone will pull away with it. Has anyone seen the Run Defense for Dixie? The linebackers fill holes and they stop pretty much everything. Shelby County played a run offense like dixie has never seen before. Dixie knows Boones run game like the back of their hands. Sorrell will prepare them for it and they will perform. Boone will have to rely on their pass game and thats not good for them. I will go with Dixie to win this one due to the fact that their run D is great and Bricking has been flawless lately. Holmes from what i have seen is a very erratic team. They can be the team who lost to Scott by 21 or the team that almost beats Dixie and the team that demolished Conner. With Duran Jefferson only being a junior, the mistakes he made will probably be taken out of his game when he is a senior. Jefferson is one of the most exciting QB's to watch in their district. With his running ability and his ability to have other players miss, he is dangerous. I was watching the Dixie vs. Holmes game and i know for a fact that if Jefferson would not have made a couple mental errors the Bulldogs would have upset Dixie. I believe that Holmes next year will be a playoff team. I think they will be the 4th seed in their district but will still make the playoffs. Any comments?
