aauhoops5 Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 Dixie will be better than people think, but unfortunately take a very big hit from the depleting Junior class of this year. Jake Neugent, Jared Shields, Caley Brandon have all had surgery recently and are not unable to play this year. Also a few others that I won't name don't have the grades to play or are just not playing because of personal reasons... but I still have faith that Dixie will do a good job this year.

bgpreppy Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 Doesn't matter how good they actually are. They have a history of being good, which is intimidating to the other teams. Then add a splendid coach and a "backyard baseball" field!!!.... They will do just fine.

The only team that teams fear when they play them is the other colonerials due to the name.

dhbaseball Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 Dixie won't be the best in hind sight, but taking into perspective the amount of talent they've lost in the past 2 years, would you expect them to be the best? Then again, they're not going to be any pushover.

Seems like everyone is counting Dixie out already before they even know what our team looks like.From what I have heard we have a couple new pitchers and some really good hitters moving up.
