Ha that's no joke. Bustle is a whole bunch of man. My favorite part about him is after he makes a good play he goes absoltley nuts. He flails his arms and its fun to see how intense he is. Personally i wouldn't pick a fight with him.

This will be a very emotional game for Tommy Gibson. I look for him to have his best game of the year.

With eight or nine guys rushing someone has to be open...

The kicking game was no issue. Other than the botched snaps the kickers played decent as a whole.

There is absolutley no excuse for sk to lose that game. They were up 15-2 and then they just quit playing. It sickened me to watch the second half. No enthusiasm, no excitement, no anything. The offense was the reason they lost the game. Poor o-line play, and poor quarterback play in the second half. Don't get me wrong I love Josh Elbert, but the second half might have been the worst i've seen him play. Now granted the o-line didn't give him tons of time, but he did not look comfortable when he dropped back. I am very very dissapointed in them, but i look for them to bounce back against dixie... hopefully....

Jordan is a big boy. I look for him to be a star in the future.

I disagree. While they might be there eventually, you can't just hand them that this early. They haven't had a real test yet, but after they take on some NKY 4A and prove themselves then they can be up there.

You can't assume that, while i can't see SK goin 3-0 with dixie's schedule you can't just say they would be 0-3. Right now SK is above Dixie in the standings because they have proven that they can beat teams that they should beat. All dixie has proven is that they can lose to better teams. These are early season fan polls. Don't take too much stock into them. We'll see what happens in district play.

Alright smart guy... it does give them some confidence and momentum going into district games.

They are done with it now, but it was Lloyd, Seneca, and Holy Cross. 3-0 against them. The next seven weeks are all district games.

I got some inside info and Bustle (the one carted off from SK) will apparently be fine. He had a hip bruise, which can cause a lot of pain, but after the bye week he will probably be ready to go. Elbert likes to go deep a lot, which i like, and when he doesn't complete the passes he only misses by a couple inches to a foot. That can be the fault of either the reciever or the quarterback, but either way i see him completing more of those passes down the stretch which will make them very tough to beat. Elbert scrambles too much IMO, i think he should stay in the pocket a bit longer on a couple of those plays and use his arm to make some more plays down the field.

How much are tickets to games there?

I've actually seen games where CCH fans filled both the student section for the home and away teams because noone showed for the other team.

Bishop is a tank. Its funny to watch him just barrell over people and keep going, but don't forget about Haught. He is one of the tougher runners in NKY as well. I wont predict a score but i'll say the starters will be out sometime in the thrid quarter

Team captains should only be chosen by a vote of the players, not by the head coach. The kids know who they look up to and who leads them more than the head coach does IMO.

I don't keep refering to them, and i don't keep tabs on exactly what players are going where in 1A, but you can't sit there and tell me 4A ball can compare to the amount of college recruits on any level that 1A spits out each year.

You are ignoring the points made in this thread, if you were an athelete in NKY and you had potential to go somewhere big in college would you stay and play at scott or conner or sk or dixie. No, most likely you would move to one of the programs with more winning tradition and therefore more college scouts. There is no quick fix in NKY 4A, the only thing that will level the playing field is for some of the 4A teams in NKY to dominate for years and years and attract some players to thier schools. Potential big time college atheletes do not care about the size of the school or anything, for that matter, besides the football program and its potential to put them into a big school.

No. An excuse would be me saying that the 1A schools recruit, and they steal players away. But i gave credit to the 1A schools tradition, and the fact that they are simply better than some 4A schools. An excuse??? i think not.....

I went through 4 years of high school and I've seen kids absolutely work their but off, and bleed for the good of the program. Then when game time came they maybe saw some special teams. I have seen some lazy kids be all stars, its about the level of talent coming in, sir. The truth is talent comes before work in high school. And to make the comment that certain programs work harder than others is true in some cases, but to make a broad generalization like that is idiotic. A program has several D1 recruits will most likely beat a team with zero D1 recruist most of the time. You CANNOT question the other teams heart as blindly as you have.
