  1. :thumb:Nice thread. I hear Boone looked a lot better at Union, I think if he can imorove to the point of being able to keep defenses to play honest, and limit his turnovers, we will be fine. I have full confidence in our defense. I can not wait! 34 days !!!
  2. Unlike some other Rebel fans, I am concerned about the qb position. Boone does throw a very hard ball and we don't have Seth or Jacob Tamme's soft hands in there to catch them. It can be awfully cold in November and December in KY, making it all the more harder to catch those hard passes. We definitely have a harder schedule, but I remain optimistic and think we will be in Bowling Green that first Saturday in December. Go Rebels.
  3. I think our schedule looks something like this, not sure on the dates or the order I can't wait.. I expect our 6th State Title this year. Johnon Central Rockcastle Danville Lex Cath Mercer Co. Lafayette East Jessamine West Jessamine Christian County I can't think of the last one, does anybody know?
  4. Still waitng to see a Danville-Corbin matchup in the playoffs..
  5. I agree with you Paul, Dre is extremely talented and could be a big contributor this year if he stays with it and avoids the distractions. For whatever reasons he has come out to only quit at a later time. I will believe it when I see him on the field come August. It's definitely worth keeping an eye on this summer. Good luck to Dre, and I hope to see you suited up this fall.
  6. Granted and to Boone's credit, we only got to see him late in games when the outcome had already been decided. Then it usually wasn't behind the starting offense.
  7. I just hope his decision making has improved and that he has better footwork than last season. I don't doubt his ability to thow the ball. I look for the Rebels to run the ball alot this year.
  8. I look for Danville to be in the hunt now that Coach Harp has retired from his teaching position and can focus on football soley. I really feel like Coach's head hasn't been in the game for the past few years and now it will be. There have been thoughts that the game has passed Coach Harp by, much the same way people viewd Coach Crum at Lousville in the mid 80's. The man has 7 State Championships, enough said. Look for a rejuvenated Admirals team and coaching staff in 2009. Good Luck ADS!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Sorry I am just now replyingt to this thread and their probably won't be anyone read it. I have been totally submerged in Coach Cal and the Wildvats potential best recruiting class ever if things fall in place. I think the Rebels will have another very successful season. You can be guaranteed Coach French will have them ready after that bitter taste that was left in their mouths last season. Our question marks are at QB, receivers, and secondary. I know Boone is a senior and hopefully he has developed his game over the past year. It will be extra motivation that the playoffs could potentially run through Boyle County. I look for somebody to step up in each one of these positions and the Rebels will again be a contender. Go Rebels and Go Cats !!!!!!!!!!!
  10. It's been the "1st" Saturday in December for the past several years instead of the "2nd" Saturday like this year. I think..
  11. Congratulations to Bell County. I didn't think it would be this close but that makes it all the more sweeter. Great job on the only undefeated record in the state.
