PRP lost their starting center the Wed before the scrimmage (not that it made a difference in the scrimmage) so Newman had to play center as well as NG. He was no where near in shape enough to do that and was gassed very early in the scrimmage. LXC played well and PRP couldnt get any offense going at all.

He is that good and is only going to get better. He is a physical specimen. He is 6'1" and about 310lbs. He is probably the strongest kid in the state. He benched 365lbs and squatted 600lbs + as a SOPHMORE. He is a 3.9 student and a heckava young man. He has worked all winter on his speed and agility. He plays nose-guard in a 3-4 at PRP. They same thing ND recruited him for. He is the ideal nose in the 3-4, which was another reason he chose ND.

I have been to Vegas a ton... Couple of things... Old Vegas has gotten seedy. Crime is up there...Pick pockets etc. Bellagio, Mandalay, and Venetian are where I would stay. Wynn is overpriced and not worth it. MGM has changed. We hated it last time...there were--how should we say this--business women--there than anywhere I have ever been...walking right up to me and my wife. Best restaurants: Steak- Delmonico's in the Venetian (Emeralds steakhouse). Very $$$ Buffets'- I like 3 the best...Paris, Bellagio, and The seafood Buffett in The Rio. Shows- Danny Ganns, O. I hated the other O shows.

I can tell you you guys this...ND was his CLEAR choice all along. UK was second. BN developed a good relationship with Joker...and Joker was the ONLY reason BN didnt commit sooner. After UK, it was Ole Miss and Stanford. UL was never in contention...At the end of the day, BN liked everything ND had to offer...From athletics to academics. Plus he is ideal for the nose in the 3-4. Coach Wolfe's system is very similar to what Brown runs at ND to that transition will be a good fit as well.

For a real story: Van Vader ran his mouth back stage after a TV taping of WCW to Paul Orndorf. Ordorf who was in flip flops proceded to stomp a mud hole in VV's hind-end. Which in turn led to the suspension of VV who went on to Japan to fight and never to return to WCW.

Just remembered another... Wildfire Tommy Rich (the young one..lol) in the steel cage at the Omni in Atlant against The Masked Superstar...Thats the match that the other masked man...The Super Destroyer...got in the cage too and they throttled WTR. Thats the most I have ever saw a wrestler bleed. The Superstar pounded WTR while TSD kept others from climbing in the cage. Also, The infamous Blood battle (a la 1980ish) between Ric Flair and Roddy Piper. The match lasted almost 2 hrs and both had lost so much blood that, Flair passed out, and both had to be taken to the ER.

That was a great one Captn... But I have to go with The Dream Machine and Lawler in the Barb wire match at Louisville gardens. TDM actually walked the bw barefoot. Also, the King and the Superstar in the Nacho Stand...CLASSIC. Another....The 4 horseman vs. Road Warriors, Nikita Kolaf, and Dusty Rhodes, in the scaffle match at Starcade... WOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

The best is Hammond doing Clinton....But my favorite skits were the Gore/GW skits of 2000. With Hammond and Ferrell...Lockbox and Strategery....and Them being co-Presidents to the odd-couple.

I have went and researched all the projection boards...and EVERY one has Quinn being the #1 QB being taken. Many talked about Quinn's strength (very strong) and toughness. He hasnt missed a snap as a starter and has been banged around a lot...

I would say Chuck Smith....without a doubt. Its not just what he did...5 in a row (by the way the ONLY one to do that)...but how and where he did it. He took a HORRIBLE program and did it. No disrespect to Harp, Beatty, Mueller....but they just continued great programs.
