Their constant pressure must have wore on Elliott before the game started then because the first quarter and some of the second was the worst shooting stint and where they got behind.

Elliott was the only team in the winners bracket(8 teams) that played from 4:30 on yesterday that didn't get a bye!!!!

You might need to go to the eye doctor because CC didnt miss many at all and shot over 50% from the 3.

I was at the game also and then went home and watched it twice on video! CC does have good "D" but Elliott had plenty enough OPEN and that does mean OPEN(hand of defender at least two feet from hands or face) looks in first half to have been tied or ahead at the half "but" they just didnt fall. They also had plenty of looks that were heavily contested and they didnt fall either(naturally) Point is noone gets on every shot and Elliott normally hits those that are open(even though it was fewer looks against CC) but they didnt hit the OPEN ones tonight which contributed to an overall bad shooting night.

He was on fire in the first half(4-6 from 3) but your right it seemed to go south in the second!

Elliott will probably go out of the 16th barring something weird happening. Rowan possibly has a chance though if they keep improving.

I would assume it is when you get position on someone and box them out and they jump up with you and try to get the rebound. If they make contact with your back at all it should be over the back. It rarely gets called anywhere in the 16th although it should. If it werent for this call the average six footer would hardly ever get a rebound under the average six five guy. Although like I said a lot of them goes unnoticed....... let me rephrase that a lot of them goes uncalled.

That will be a tall order as Mason is ranked #2 in the state in homecourt advantage I guess because of atmosphere and devout fans like your self coupled with the fact that the home floor anywhere they claim is an auto vantage of 10.:thumb::scared:

I will agree with you(don't know about the blowout part) about Timmy being a difference maker. So is Tyler Maynard. Last year Elliott had three players average double figs. Now with Timmy at 15, and tyler at 10 that is 25 more to add to the tally:thumb: Now Elliott has five players averaging double figures:D:ylsuper: Elliotts top five scorers are averaging 86pts per game!!!!!!!!!

I don't really think Timmy is weak they all play a lot of guard and everyone in their offense ends up inside and out. Ferg just seems to flash into the paint a little more than most.

Ferguson Still plays more inside than anyone. I can't really remember him having much trouble with fouls other than when he gets "hammered" it is rarely called. You are right Timmy has improved alot!!

I have an answer for you guys too!! For years Elliott boys and girls were beaten by horrendous margins. By 40 and 50 points plenty of times. Your right it does come back around and here they(ELLIOTT) are:ylsuper: I guess everyone will just have to set and take it just like we did. I saw a game at Elliott once by the score of 91-12 with Elliott on the recieving end. Least we are not as classless as that team was:thumb: Schools like Elliott, Menifee, Bath, Rose Hill, etc were trounced on for years now one is giving it back and everyone is tore all to pieces!!!

Who's being Cocky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What posters don't talk it up when their team wins or when a player on their team tears it up, as you just was IMO a little cocky about Boyles. Not taking nothing away from him he is a fierce competitor who had a great game Sat. so you were bragging a little just like Elliott fans who are having a great season so far. Nothing wrong with either of ya's. Most Elliott fans aren't cocky, I know most all of them, but they will go nut's in defense of their team. I would venture to say if Raceland was 4-0 and average margin of win was 48 you yourself would feel a little above normal and it would be deserved. These boy's have worked super hard(every one) to get where they are at. Not dissing you or your opinion just saying its not really exactly on the money!! Have a great season dude, you have a nice team IMO best we have played so far this year.
