Theres no denying the locker rooms need work, ok completely renovated. But what is with the dingy smelly rest room at Evans, and the shanty they sell concessions out of, and most importantly the TURF The scoreboard is ok but I don't think it is any better than Putnams, although the fire is pretty cool. Last year I saw it almost burn down during the Greenup game (i think it was greenup) just thought I would throw that in there!! :D Cheer up FBALL don't knock it til you've tried it, Oh,wait a minute been there done that! Don't worry though we will still let those Nasty ole Devils use that ragged ole Putnam stadium when ever they are in need, an by the look of Henry R Evans already that could be soon!!!

Russell has a real nice home side but concessions, restrooms, vistors side, need alot of work. Hands down Putnam is the one. I would like to see something done with lockerooms on both sides, and better parking. But what a place to spend a friday night. IMO. Of course everybody should feel that way about there own place that is what makes schools strive to have bigger an better stadiums. Ah sweet rivalry!

Ironton did get better as the scrimmage went on but made alot of mistakes that you are not used to Ironton making. I think they are a very different looking team without Lutz at the Helm, not quite the machine that I was used to seeing? IMO

Don't forget the 2A state champs just beat them by 8, had a chance to score and go for 2 for the tie with under a minute left. And IMO Ashland played terrible in that game. The QB question is the biggest ? whether or not they have a good or great season. Hopefully they can find a way to get McDavid back to receiver, if the Mahan kid works out at QB? Either way I will be an exciting year with Coach Hart at the helm. I dont know how much of a surprise this is but the younger Bonner kid could be an impact player.

Having the home an vistors on the same side is a terrible idea, I remember a few years ago at rockcastles field there principle came an told the ASHLAND side they were being to rowdy?? Its a football game people are suppost to get excited, I saw what happened an it was nothing out of the ordinary, a problem that would not be a problem if both teams had there own side, the way it was meant to be!

Well it should be uncommon that is the worst setup going, they knew that when they built putnam 70 yrs ago! That stadium is around 70 yrs old an still there is not a better place to watch a game! I heard that we might be getting artifical turf in the next year or two I don't know how I feel about that just yet?? The locker rooms do need some work, A couple years ago they remodled the home side not sure about the vistors, definitely needs some work though.

That was a great day when they quit playing SOCCER on that field!
