Sounded like an exciting game. Wolves had pulled within 7 late in the fourth quarter, but free throws helped the Engineers stretch out the lead. Congratulations Engineers.

Does anyone know which radio station will carry this one. All my presets are in my car and I don't think work would be very happy if I sat in my car all night to listen to the ball game *LOL*

I'm going to pick Cordia in this one, but I'm sure this will be an exciting match up.

Ohh this should be an exciting game! I would love to be there, but guess I'll be listening on the radio! I wish both teams good luck and would hate to venture a prediction. I really like both teams and have enjoyed watching both this season. One thing is sure, whomever wins will definately deserve it.

I agree. There is nothing wrong with getting the fans involved. Hearing the fans cheer sometimes encourages other players to get involved as well. And as for emotion, what teenager, (Basketball star or not) isn't emotional? :jump:

Thanks for the good luck wish. We have a tough game coming up. I wasn't referring to any situation that I had seen. I didn't get to see the Hazard game so I don't know what happened to make someone think Cody has a bad attitude. I just don't think that even if something happened, that Cody should be judged by the one event instead of his overall showing as a high school athlete.

I don't really think Cody has a bad attitude at all. Off the court, the opportunities I have had to see him, he seems like a geniunely nice kid. On the court he is tenacious and wants to win. I see nothing wrong with that. Perhaps he gets carried away in the heat of the game... but very few kids don't. When Wolfe plays Lee, while I'm watching the game, there are times when I think Gilbert goes "overboard" with his tenacity but that's me as a fan supporting my team. In all reality, if I were to be objective and honest about it, I have to say that 1. He's a kid who just wants to win, and could be frustrated at being placed in the situation he is in. 2. What teenager doesn't go overboard? Let's be honest, teenager's are ... well teenagers and are just learning how to be adults. I mean come on to expect a teenager to be a perfect gentleman on the court... well that's ludacris. I don't know the situation that has made people think Cody has a bad attitude, but don't take something that occurs one time on the floor in the heat of the moment to represent a kid who has conducted himself repeatedly in an honorable and sportsmanlike fashion. 3. Cody has always proven himself to me to be a great sport. I'm think Cody is one of the best, if not the best players around. I wish him and the Wolves the best the rest of the season. (and while I will be faithfully cheering for my Bobcats, I still hope only the best for the Wolves).

Bobcats played stifling defense against Buckhorn. I agree Ronnie; they need to start hitting their free throws, but I believe they will. I know Coach has continously worked on this and I believe they will improve. Tyler Rich performed amazingly in the post position, muscling his way against the Buckhorn defenders. Congratulations Bobcats. Good Luck in Richmond I'll see you there.

If Lee County's defensive intensity is what it was last night, look out. The Wolves played no D and neither did Buckhorn. That won't be the case tonight I believe.

I agree. While Gilbert is a great, gifted player, there are several other players on the Wolfe team who are capable of stepping up. Seemed like Stamper was having an off night toward the end. Missed free throws hurt Wolfe worse than anything though, in my opinion.

:thumb: Rich is a strong player and a leader on the floor. Even when he may not contribute 15 points in a game, he still leads his team in other ways. Good luck on the rest of the season Professor.

Yea it was kind of crazy. I've been at some tense ball games but wow let me just say wow. Anyhow, while I'll be on Lee's side; I wish both teams good luck. Also, I think the Wolves are still improving. They've got some work to do; but they are by no means a floor mat.

Haha...lee had some crooked road too In My Opinion. Your crooked road theory is pretty, well, crazy.

Cody Gilbert hit some unbelieveable 3 point shots but that was not enough for Wolfe to beat Buckhorn. The tension in the gymnasium between both sides was heavy in the air and toward the end the game almost got out of hand, especially after a punch was thrown (apparently out of the view of the officials) down on the floor when both teams were going for a loose ball.

Buckhorn is up by 20 wiht 1 minute to go.

Who do you think will win this game. I think Lee will win a close one. They have very good defense and can score from anywhere. It will be a good game though.
