15th Slammer

I was at the game and Paintsville looked very much improved but IMO the refs helped them out alot. The basketball by slone at the end of the 3rd i think it was should not have counted. There was 1.3 seconds on the clock and Williams slung a full court pass and then was tipped by 2 apollo players and it fell into slone's hand and he had enough time to do a spin move and hit the basket. The weird thing was the buzzer didnt sound till the shot hit the back board. Late in the fourth I seen a couple of bad calls go Paintsville's way. Not taking anything away from Paintsville though they played a great game against a pretty decent Apollo team.

I just went and checked and you are right. Someone needs to get it corrected because im pretty sure that Magoffin won.

Wish that belfry would have pulled this out. They still made a great run after loosing what all they lost.

Belfry's team is really a class act. I have never seen a team more classy than the Pirates. That is the reason I am cheering for them to 3-peat.

I wish I would have known about this. I would have been a honor to see "King" Kelly in person. I would love to read his book, i think i may purchase it.
