  1. Crystal ball is freezing up a bit on this one.... the frozen "plastic tundra" of Marshall Stadium will see the best game since the ribbon was cut. Trinity's defense tends to start slow, HC will put 10 points on the board in the 1st quarter. Donald and Blaine each score in the 2nd stanza and the Rocks lead at halftime 15-10. HC, scores again on a disputed pass play and takes back the lead. Fourth quarter starts with HC looking strong. Then a huge defensive stand by the Rocks ignites the offense.... Kircher puts Trinity ahead 22-17, then a fumbled kickoff and trick play seal the deal.... Rocks win 29-17!
  2. Crystal ball says X doesn't need a "thank you God" this week.... Tigers roll on to Papa's Palace 35-13!
  3. All scoreboard light bulbs will be replaced as these 2 might just put up over a 100! Somebody tell us about HC... what/who makes them tick?
  4. YEAH COLTS!!!!! You guys scored more than the 45 I predicted!!!! KEEP IT GOING!
  5. Congrats OC... celebrate with a brat and some mini bingo!
  6. I have been standing in line for an appointment with the devil to sell my sole for a healthy team... but I can't get in to see the guy because all my St. X friends are ahead of me!
  7. Great job men.... get the MASH unit on duty (again) and get those guys well for next week! Props to Eric Senn (awesome) and defense shutting down a running attack that had been potent.
  8. Crystal ball says the Lava Rocks are HOT and get out of the gate quick..... returning the openning KO perhaps???!!! 34-18 and Trinity marches on....
  9. Isn't Riverdale where Archie and his friends go to high school? Is Jughead still the QB? Sugar-Sugar..... Oh Honey, honey.....
  10. Crystal ball says Colts enjoy a "malt liquor" night.... Colt 45 - Western 21
  11. To coin that old phrase.... Isn't Yale one of those academic schools? CONGRATS!!!!
  12. Crystal ball said, 'Ask again later"... so I did..... HC wins this one on a 4th quarter play that even leaves Fred Cowgill speechless! 24-22 final
  13. Crystal ball checked in early this week. As Ed McMahon used to say, "Here's Johnny"...... and as St. X. will say, "There goes Johnny". Tigers break a sweat but cruise by I-65 High, 30 - 13.
  14. Insight 2 broadcast the game..... Gary Gupton and Chris West with the play by play. Any comments??
  15. I think coaches vote (but not for their own players). Can be political I hear....
  16. Rocks adjusted to injuries well with shuffled O-line and LBers. Nick P. has some early misfortunes but didn't need a stellar passing night as the running game looked pretty good. Dane S. with the Mrs. Butterworth pancake block in the 4th quarter (springing Donald B for a long one) still has me smiling! Buy 'em by the sack McDermott had it going, and Kyle "dorsal" Finn (ha ha) had a huge night. All this talk has me hungry!!!! Good job Rocks, keep it going!!!
  17. Crystal ball sees a new Trinity O-line(up).... a few Creekers missing, and multiple replays of that aweful "fight" song. Trinity moves on 36 - 17.
  18. Best place to be????? Winner's circle!....... and might I add, I will have bad dreams after seeing Hurricane's avatar
  19. Crystal ball says overtime to allow for more brat and mini bingo sales...... LexCa- 27 CovCa-21
  20. I think the coaches met Tuesday night to vote on the teams.... when do we hear the results?
  21. Crystal ball says "Shock and Awe", Male- 35 JH-13. Bobby calls Mike and asks if St. X can come out and play??????
  22. Manual can win this game... they have the talent to do so. I don't think deep down THEY think they can win however, which leads the old crystal ball to say the Tigers move on 21 - 10.
  23. Thanks for the update on Mr. Henderson... I was wondering who he would replace when he came back as the other guys were doing just fine! Hopefully they all rotate in and get some PT. It does not appear he has had the dominating season people thought he'd have. Injuries stink.
