Were the 3 X players with dads from T all starters and did they all go to the same grade school together? That's part of what made those 3 T players special. I don't think a lack of ink is a problem for St. X. They had full command of the spotlight from the season opening section in the paper. P.S. If he is a walking billboard why does he pick against them?

Meanwhile, back at the thread topic...... that was a nice article mentioning Dane Spoelker. He was very excited about the tackle on #3 but will be the first to tell you there were tons of big plays in the game that combined together to = victory.

Let's all play nice.... I have been very proud of my fellow alums posts after this game. I do agree that it had to hurt the X community which makes their positive posts even more impressive. We both have lots to be proud of and thankful for. If the other schools get their way we'll be doing this a lot more so we better get used to it.

Would anyone have, or know where I can get a photo of Dane Spoelker's (#55) tackle of Anderson on that 4th down play? There were of bunch of photographers in the end zone. One guy with his press band around his pants leg looks like he is getting a great shot of it. Thanks for any info!!!!

This thread is ridiculous! Yeah.... Petrino's accuracy might be down next year until he can adjust for the extra weight on his RING finger.... Give me (and Nick) a break... he just through for over 3,000 yards this year, less than a handful of ints, and more than 2 handfuls of td tosses..... and was MVP in the title game. I'm sure the coaches are already busy figuring how they will replace him next year......GEEEEEZZZZZEEEEEEE.

The annual game is an event planned on for months.... the championship game (while the odds are always good for at least one of the 2 to be there) is not 100% until the week before. 20,000+ in a weeks time..... that's pretty good in my book. Think any other 2 teams could do that?

I'm no ref... when the pass was picked off and a roughing the passer was called I thought it was a change of possession, then a 15 yard penalty. Obviously I'm wrong. Any zebras out there to explain the rule??? Is it because the roughing happened before the int???? Thanks.
