Betsy Layne accourting to 2009 stats say he had 120 att 1139 yards 12 TD's. Dylan Maldonado had 80 att 537 yards 3 TD's. That is two pretty good backs comming back, not bad. The Bobcats look like they may have the tools to have a big year.

Progressively worse sounds more like 4-8, the talent is not the all ways there year in, year out, I admit some coachs are tough on there kids, but that does not mean it is a crime. Parents expected a 17th winning season got dispointed. Parents believe It is not the kids fault, but the Head coach was to blame, I wonder if your pointing the finger in the right direction on this one. The Coach got his, no thanks for the 16 winning seasons or state title, but a boot out the door. If I am wrong on this so be it, but I will say if anything it had a part in getting this home town coach fired.

I wonder what kind of serious issues, I mean they where serious issues we can over look, until we had a losing season, but I understand there hands where tied. I hope the parents are not in control of this program, if so Middleeboro's best days are behind them.

This Coach got you all your first and only state title I would be glad have that.

Congrats to Coach Cobb, at KCC he went, 1993 1-9 1994 5-6 lost to Bell Co. 9-25 playoffs 1995 7-3 {only played 9 games that year before the playoffs} lost Whitley Co. 26-27 1996 8-3 lost South Laurel 7-12 playoffs 1997 3-8 lost Bell Co. 0-35 playoffs The best years in KCC history, he can put the program on the right path again.

This is great to see a coach form Kentucky winning National Coach of the Year award, congrats to coach Mueller and his family.

This could be a bad move for this kid, I mean Danville can be a year away, maybe next year, playing for a title. I mean Boyle Co. is a championship program not a bad place to transfer to, but Danville is not some run of mill hope to have a winning season type program, they are always threat to win a title all most every year.

By any chance would you know the record for the 1985 and 1986 seasons?

Just checking my playoff history FCHS has made it to the quarterfinals in 1985 AAA and 1986 AA, I don't know what there records where maybe some one can find out on here.

I think they where one missed PAT away to play for another overtime for the AAAA state championship in 1996, '96 12-3 '97 12-1 '99 7-5 '00 9-4 '01 8-3 '02 9-5 '03 10-4 '05 10-3 They have been known to be good form time to time.

I can see Danville coming back in a big way next year.

This program has a good football history and should get a big name head coach to turn it around.
