Too many coaching changes in the past.

Dan is a good hire. Lots of experience in JCPS.

Hopefully this will bring some stability for Shawnee. They have plenty of athletes to make some noise in 3A.

It is not Dan it is his brother Ted. Interesting to see how a man of his age will relate to those kids.

I personally dont see it working.

An old guy won 1A ,4A, 5A and 6A. 3 guys that are drawing their retirement took their teams to Bowling Green this year. Lone Oak, John Hardin and Boyle County all have retired teachers leading them.

Yeah, but those schools don't have the population of a Shawnee High, where it is not only tough to get the kids going, but also it is hard to find assistant coaches.

Teddy was was a tough player in high school at BD, and I'm sure he still has a bit of "drill sargent" in him. His years of experience coaching in both Georgia and Florida will help him tremendously in getting Shawnee on track and keeping them there. I think that this was an excellent hire! :thumb:

Shawnee could be on the rise with this new Coach comming to town.
