Whitaker would have made a huge difference in this game, he may be out a long time with his injury. If so Bell will continue to struggle.

Zap is quick, Glad you worry about my sources. Really I sat with Coach Dixon at the Bell vs B'ville game he told me about the game and what he thought were the stats. If you can find any Lc game on the radio it would surprise me. By the way how do you think this was fast, I was online about midnight, the game started at 3:00 or 3:30. and was over I guess around 4:45 or so. To find out things sometimes all you got to do is ask.

Bell had to play the younger Whitker (8th grader?) with older brother out. Looked to me like J. Sanders has to do it all for Bell now.Bell looked out of rhythm and didn't get many calls IMO.

I wasn't able to go to a 3:30 game but was told Sayre is a solid team and now have a 10 and 1 record. Their only loss is to Danville by 2 or 3 pts. LC was led by Cody Dixon with 24 or 25 pts. and over 10 rebounds, Eric Hibbard also had 16 or 17 pts. for the cats. Lc now 7 and 3.

I had heard the same thing from a very good source. Whatever happened must have lit a fire in Grubb, 30pts. in the CFIT. Both Grubb and Crawfrod are really good kids and I'm sure Coach Phipps can be hard to play for at times but hopefully for all concerned this continues to work itself out.

Good observation, Cody has really picked up the physical parts of his game, with Tanner out or limited for the season,so far, Cody has been the only player for LC with any size alot of times its been four guards and him. Hopefully Tanner can get well and he and Nathan can be a double force inside.

From the games I have watched Eggen plays well (like most) when the matchups suit his style. He shoots very good outside againest a passive zone, and goes to the basket well when overplayed out of a zone. He has problems creating his own shot and tends to take bad ones. All in all he has had some good games. I didn't see the Montellico game but he must have had a really good one there 26pts.

IMO Brian had a much better set of teammates to work with, Couch and Co. put Hyden, Ky. on the football map.

Has Jackson City beaten Hazard before this game? Great win for JC

I agree if they get by their opening game look out, the hounds will be hard to handle!

Man! Cash must have really been the glue for Rock. I felt they would be better than their record has shown.

LC improved its record to 7 and 2 for the season with this win over the Evarts Wildcats, LC big man Dixon posted a double/double with 17pts. and 17rebounds. The guard play of Siler, Bray, and Hibbard has improved alot since the beginning of the season. Evarts played very hard and kept the game close in the first half. :thumb:

Wow Jackson City must be a really improved program. I watched C'land play in three games this year, They are well coached and a solid team. Jackson is a tough place to play, when I played we won by 1 at Jackson, 8 players fouled out, at our place we won by 42, A big turn around lol.

To be a freshman he must already be a special player! If he keeps his head on straight and continues to work hard, he could be the best in the state his Jr. and Sr. year. I hope he can reach his potential.

Must not have been true they led the team in scoring if you could say that when the entire team only scored 36, Cox must be really sick, he makes the tigers go.

Number 10 is about right for Lynn Camp they IMO are only two really bad quarters from being 8 and 0, the 3rd againest Bell and the awful 4th against Berea. You must really love the panthers to want them in the 10th spot, only one win so far. As for their district, compare the school sizes KC should dominate this district after this year for years to come.

But did he know who would take his place? If so how did he?

I watched that game as well, LC played five or six players most the night and Berea played ll or 12 both teams pressed and ran the ball, seemed to me the cats ran out of gas in the 4th. They led by 4or5 in the third but hit a brick wall and got out scored something like 30 to 10 in the 4th, by far their worst game of the year, I'm sure the cats would love to play Berea again, but Berea has 10 seniors and is a fair team.

Maybe he knew he would not be around to coach these games and didnt want the next coach to look to good.

I see you dont have Lynn Camp in your next "group" but have C'land and Jackson Co. LC has beat Jackson twice so far and C'land once. Maybe they should be in your Next group as well? Lynn Camp is 6 and 2 at this point, how many game have M'boro and KC won?

If he was ranked then he was most likely not an underrated player. What school D1 has he signed with?

I agree something (field, field house, etc.) should be named for Coach Campbell. He has had a lot of help over the years, but he deserves the credit for the heights Whitley reached over the last 17 years.

I beleive Ross Deaton is a JR. had one of the best arms of any qbs I watched this year, a good player!
