Barbourville 66 Bell Co. 48

Featured Replies

The Tigers pulled away in the third quarter after a sluggish first half by both teams. Barbourville does a good job of spacing in their offense and have several players who are offensive threats and Bell Co. does not have much bulk on the inside, therefore Barbourville was able to get inside and either score or draw fouls on the Bobcats.

I was very surprised with Bell Co., they don't seem to have many offensive options and are very young.

I give alot of credit to Sanders from Bell County. He seems to be out there alone sometimes, and is a great player. The slow tempo Bell set early in the game seem to get to Bville though. I think Good led Bville with 19 and Crawford with 18. Sanders and ( little) Whitaker lead Bell County. It looked like Cox got hurt in the first half. He still played the rest of the game though and did fine but does anybody know if it was serious?

These are two of the top 5 teams in the 13th.

Barbourville is, but no way that Bell Co. is at this time, but when Whitaker comes back they might be.

Whitaker would have made a huge difference in this game, he may be out a long time with his injury. If so Bell will continue to struggle.

I'd say that he has a very sore stiff ankle today, it will be interesting to see if he plays and what impact he will have if he is able to play!
