I find it strange that no one has mentioned the way the Hazard players acted after the game. Being excited is perfectly fine, celebrate as you wish, but to go around ripping down signs and tearing them into pieces is downright wrong. Not to mention yelling and cussing at every fan, parent, etc. that you see. If thats how you act after a win, I can't wait to see how you act next week.....

I don't mean anything negative. Coach Justice will not be returning for personal reasons (namely his family). I was only expanding on your statement about him working with Huffman. He put a lot of effort into Chase.

Very long day. Lots of good talent, but it lasted nine hours! By the fourth game, the only coaches/scouts left were the MSU coaches and T-Bone (Pirates Scout).

Pikeville will be just fine. The new coaching staff consisting of Steve Priode, Chad Salyer, and Don Isner were all excellent players, and will continue the tradition at PHS. It's hard to say whether the change will produce immediate effects, but in time, I believe they will be looked at just as favorably as Lawson was. Good luck coaches...Have a great season! :thumb:

This is what UK as a whole wanted. Morris actually told the AD he would stay for less than what he was being offered by other teams...All he wanted was a raise for he and his coaching staff...The "man in charge" thought he was bluffing, and refused. Morris had no other choice than to take other offers.

Thats good to hear. I do agree with FB though, Chase is hard to judge.

This is actually pretty old news...Pikeville fans, players, etc. have known about this for a while now. The coaching staff will include Steve Priode at the helm, Chad Salyer as the assistant, and possibly another not yet named. A tough situation for Coach Priode to step into, but with the experience and expertise he holds, hopefully Priode will lead the Panthers into another successful season!
