Figured it would be a tough, hard fought game. I was not at the game but will have to comment on something I read in the Danville Advocate today. No one has posted on the fact that McCreary Central outscored Lincoln by TWENTY TWO at the foul line. I'm not saying they were a victim of home cooking (Because I know Hargis assigns the refs) but my question is why such a difference? I've seen Lincoln many, MANY times. I know that they hold and grab as much as anyone in the region BUT so does Central. Rob's teams usually do a little bit of holding when they jam cutters as well. 22 sounds like a lot but I was not there so I am wanting someone to fill me in!

I'm going to say it is a really close game.... Will come down to if the Raiders can keep Young out of the middle (which I am going to say they can't!) and if Lincoln can guard Watts effectively (which I am going to say they can't do that either!). Should be a dandy of a game.

You are kidding right?? Keeton would be a lower level DII player or a pretty decent DIII player. No chance at DI unless he wanted to go to a really small school and sit the bench. Nice player, just not DI.

Thanks! You are right. They probably don't go to Rupp without him and they are an different team all together this year. Better or worse? Right now it is hard to tell.... I think only time will tell on this one! (And Spurlin getting over Mono!)

I agree! It would be hard for any high school team to compete with college level kids. The difference between 16/17 and 20/21 is tremendous.

Coaches don't know if all their assistants are going to be there or not. Sometimes people just can't show up. Some coaches sell them for face and I saw other coaches GIVING tickets away to young kids and their parents. I guess that is dishonest as another poster said earlier.

Lincoln didn't play well but not bad enough to leave out! Elliot must have been really impressive!!!

You probably thought that because your team didn't get beat!! I've had teams play in 8 different regions across the state and I will say one thing for the 10th and 11th officials. They are as good as anyone in the state. I've had Queen AND Lenox on games before. I've never had a problem with any of these guys. Actually the only problem I've had with these guys is that I don't get them enough. Sounds like to me your just fired up because you had a team get beat. Don't blame it on the officials. I wasn't at the game but I am SURE that your team didn't miss any FT's that would have helped or they didn't turn it over at all!!!
