Well I haven't heard anything over in these parts, but will let you know if I do. Being planted right in the middle, I have a few that like to talk. Oh, and for all that don't believe in the PHM, think again. LOL!!! It's really funny, because my wife was at a "prom to dawn" meeting across the way from CCH and even the MOMs were talking "Mafia". Of course mine just sat and listened. You know, since she has no connection to that "Mafia".

There is a church caddy corner to the school that has a parking lot that is "never" full and is as close to HHS front doors as is the parking lot next to CovCath. Have your buddies try looking around. It's not that hard. The parking issue is a joke when used in this way. LOL!!!:ohbrother:

Only a handful of players mentioned. What about the kids from HHS. Any word on any of them. I think Wienel is heading to Valpo to kick. What about players like Ryan Hahn, Ty Siedel, Daniel Gold, Austin Abner, Austin Hollingsworth. I think they all could play some type of college ball. Maybe they don't want to, but just wondering if they were even contacted by any colleges.

22-12 Final! Troy Timmerman from CovCath was "Player of game" with two picks with one for a TD. Other pick, he was tackled at the 2 yard line. Chad Lawrence from Simon Kenton was "Offensive Player of Game". Not sure on stats for him. Austin Abner and Ryan Hahn of Highlands played entire game with the exception of one play for Abner. Great Job to all the guys on a great game and season. Good way to go out!

And without a doubt, one of the best atmospheres in high school football. You can get big parking lots, big generic aluminum stands, and a track that forces you to view the game as far as the eye can see, anywhere just about, especially at a county school. Ad even some city schools. It's the up close and personal feel that people love and hate about DCM Stadium. Won't name a particular coach in the County of Boone, he seems to think it's unfair. LOL!!! Go Birds!!!!

Hey JOAT, I wouldn't be too sure. Why couldn't he play up and start to gain the needed experience. If I'm not mistaken, there really isn't a stud kicker in this years 8th grade class. I think that is one position that is wide open for some good competition.

Hey, a great big Bluebird shout out to the parents that replaced the signs on Memorial Parkway today. After the many long hours of hard work (and I'm sure a few beverages to boot), making signs for the team to see and appreciate, those signs is question were destroyed last evening by some, well lets just call them Non-Bird fans! New signs look awesome. What a great message! Keep up the great work parents!!! Go Birds!!! 20n10!!!
