Had the field not been mucked up, the Waves could have put up 70 or so last night.

I have a lot of relatives in Breck and what Macdon pointed out is correct. There is no interest in football on the elementary level. That is where you develop interest and talent is in the youth leagues. The fact is basketball is king..everything else dies on the vine. I coach youth football here in Meade County, and we have 1 Hardinsburg kid and several Irvington kids in our league this year because there is no interest in Hardinsburg. It's sad.

Is PRP a typo at #9 in AAAA? 81.4 is ahead of the 2 teams in front of them.

Trinity and X are decent teams, but not on the level of a Hoover (AL) High, or Byrnes SC. IMO, those two teams would be embarrassed by a top 5 HS program.

Not much JR or SR participation. I think we have 8 SR kids, maybe the same on JRs. There are 35-40 on the frosh team. It appears we may be a couple of years away from having some better numbers.

Meade 16 Manual 30 Meade is wearing down. The Waves only dress 45 or so, and only 25 play. Sounds more like the depth of Manual is doing the job, not so much the speed.

That's a bit surprising. The radio crew has made mention of how outsized the Waves are up front.
